CEO 2013 Results and Aftermath

Really fun event to watch, even for the small amount of stream time!

Props to RTD for defending his CEO champion title for 3 years in a row now! Congrats to the other placers as well!

ZOU, ZOU, ZOU, ZOU, ZOU, ZOU, ZOOOOOOOOU! Seriously, Belgium got 1st place in hype creation. 3 dudes from the other side of the planet were making almost as much hype as 20 Americans. We gotta step it up CEO 2014.

Thanks to DIME, kAb, Mr. Nichols, that one guy whose name I can't remember now but looks like he could be DIME's cousin but doesn't play fighting games, Harry, Saltface (I think... sweet Tira player who was kicking my ass), Dubros, Ching, Ashley da Wondergirl, Darryl BIIIIIIRDMAN Grimmace, The Real Mr. McGriff, Epic and her boyfriend who plays Asta, that one girl who was playing Pyrrha with me at 4 am, Ed, and Hotnix for showing up just long enough to walk through the Calibur hotel room, thanks for putting up with me or giving me fun fights.

I am sorry if'n I left any one out. RTD did pull a Daigo style come back, it was hype as bwalls. When the matches get uploaded it's gonna be MIND BOTTLING!

Oh yeah, RTD has a super cute family.

yeah it was to my knowledge. im not sure though dont quote me on it. idk if zou has played in tournaments in belgium

I know it was his 1st, he told me so. I was making a joke about him getting so far being a nobody somebody now. The kid is nice and excellent at the game.

What the hell? first congrats to RTD but what was Zou doing there? Did they go for Tekken maybe? Would have watched if i knew europe was there...:(

Word on the street there was that some Belgian Street/King of Fighters guys were coming and he tagged along. I saw them at the KoF post pool fights the next day and they were chipper as fuck providing just as much hype at like 1030 am.

We need to hire some foreign Brazillian or European soccer announcers for the commentary perhaps because on a person by person basis the Belgians got us beat on hype by a nautical mile.
 
So time for me to do my shoutouts now that I'm home. Shoutout to Epic and DIME for giving me a place to crash. Shoutout to Zou and the Belgium dudes for the hype. To all the Florida players who showed up. Shoutout to KaB for the CPU money matches. Shoutout to the Florida FGC in general. This tournament was so fuckin fun. You guys definitely got me wanting to comeback next year. Got nothing but love for all you.
 
That was a really great Grand Final. Probably the best Natsu play I've seen, made me feel sad I don't play her anymore.
