Challenge... Lost Culture

When I started this thread one of the things in the back of my head was cultural patterning.
I am over simplifying this but ... I had a book once that demonstrated how you could tell something about the environment of a civilization by the types of lines used in their patterns. If the culture was on the plains or a desert you would see a lot of horizontal straight lines ... near water swirls .... and so on ...
So I am very happy that the CASs here do such a good job of breaking away from the modern looking stickers provided. With layering and positioning, I feel like they have been altered to feel more unique and specific to a people and a time.
:)

Thanks, now you have earned yourself a playlist to see on the nice tablet of yours.
Since this is a lot of work to produce such a movie, i will post it in my main thread ;o)

if you like it, let this be the spark that reignites my slumbering thread and start an actual discussion around CAS art and my mayan iteration of it...so don't bother leaving a "like", words are more personal (questions, emotions, areas of improvement)

@ Vilicrane; your Colombus is very nice, looks stylish.

@Gatsu; 5/5. The colors, armor and helm are just spot on. (I enjoy Neclords and Rdmunhoz' too).

VI-LAR-CANE
but thanks, though Columbus is an old one, still one of my most soulcaliburish one, to use another CAS master's words ;op

I didn't know Queza's headdress could get any cooler. I also like how her new top added more coverage. Bravo. Silly Columbus, fashionable as ever but still thinking he discovered India lol.

Thx, i am very happy about that other snakey headdress as well...can be seen in the girl fight in the vids...
I tried doing a Cortes Edge, but i ran out of motivation for CAS lately, and that Army of Two game set in Mayan settings is mindblowing (not only the mind blows thanks to frostbite game engine ;o).
Now i am all about doing custom masks to look even cooler in-game...check out my threads for a couple of them later on
