I did this with cwcheat, a cheating program for PSP's with custom firmware, and it's hilarious. These codes can alter the size and placement of customizable bonus items far beyond the +/-50 limitation the game gives you.

Addresses for female characters:
21352AD0 = Width
213529D0 = Depth
213528D0 = Height
213527D0 = Horizontal Move (Vertical Move for headgear)
213526D0 = Back Move (Horizontal Move for headgear)
213525D0 = Vertical Move (Back Move for headgear)

Addresses for male characters:
21345B10 = Height
21345A10 = Width
21345910 = Depth
21345810 = Horizontal Move (Vertical Move for headgear)
21345710 = Back Move (Horizontal Move for headgear)
21345610 = Vertical Move (Back Move for headgear)

How to use them:
1) Make a character, and make sure they're saved in a character slot first
2) Enter these addresses into whatever cheat program you use, and choose a value.
3) Enter the character's customization again and go to the customization menu for a bonus item.
4) Go to whatever aspect of the item you're changing and press left to apply the value if it's positive, or right if it's negative.
5) Save, and you're done. Turn the cheats off again.

*** Make sure to turn the cheats OFF before you play your next match, or else the game will freeze.

I really only did this to make a huge Chello. Some of you might have some fun with it though.

Dude, I am cracking up here just watching this video. Too bad you can't make the Cello "play" with himself as a victory pose.

I recently tried to apply this same method to voice pitches, but the game won't play any voice past +/-50 :(

Those hitboxes have to be so fucked up lol.
Actually no, as I tested this I confirmed that character equipment has no effect on hitbox size. Also, BD has no physique meter like IV does, so all custom character hitboxes will be standard.

Do you have any hacks for changing the starting position on Quick Match?
The only way I could think of making this work is finding the value that allows starting-side-switching in Training mode and applying it elsewhere, but every time I switched from left to right in training I got over 30000 values that changed along with it. I don't think it's possible.

How do I get these to work?

I found your codes a week ago and have been trying to figure out how to work them. I love creating characters and want to make a unique one.

Any chance for a step-by-step run through? I've put'em into cwcheat and messed with the values so many times, but can't get it to work. Am am using the eur version of the game, is that the one you used?

They should look like this, right?

Yes that's how they're supposed to look, but other people have asked me the same thing and also can't get it to work for some reason. I'm not sure what's getting lost in translation, so I'll make a quick video explaining the process.

So what were you doing differently that wasn't letting the codes work? I'm just curious, because you're the first person to actually confirm to me that the codes work for them.

yeah, well im back to having it not work now... and i have no idea whats going on. :/

it worked the first time, i really didn't do anything different after i saw the vid...i just tried to follow along with the vid and it worked that one time.

let me ask you something, what region is your copy? USA or EUR?

Yeah, I made these on the EUR version. I've NEVER had these codes not work for me before either, as long as the character being edited was saved once. I haven't found any other non-working situation myself.

hmmm...im using the EUR version too. I took about 10 minutes last night to learn how to make codes and made my own version of the codes. The female codes worked like yours, but the male ones changed different aspects of different items.

all took like 30 minutes to make.

ill post my codes in a while

I have no idea why those codes look different than mine, or why yours have different rules. But eh, whatever works.

The only other difference we could have is our PSPs. I'm using a japanese PSP mint green slim, which has a TA88v3 motherboard. I highly doubt that's influencing anything though.

im on a us silver, 2001 psp...and i also don't really think that'd make a difference.

but yeah, whatever works, i guess? :D
