Creation Improvements &/Wishes

Besides what others have said another thing that I wish they could do is give the CaS really dynamic camera shots whenever they enter and win a round. It annoys me that if a person creates a Xiba CaS and wins, the camera doesn't follow their movements with one of his victory poses.

Its the one where he says "I'm starving up here" You get a clear shot their feet and half their body's off the screen. It looks odd.

The only thing I'd like for CaS is to decouple it from every possible gameplay-altering effect, or at least, be upfront about where it is and isn't allowed.

Let me give an example:

I make a CaS Astaroth. If I want to use that CaS Astaroth in say, Ranked online, it must conform to the specs of the ACTUAL Astaroth in terms of range/reach/hitboxes, or else I won't be allowed to use it.
There should just be a straight up checkbox: Mimic size/reach of default style. I for one would enjoy that.
You could also add in a toggle for Player Match room options:

CaS OK
CaS Strict (i.e. only exact copies)
No CaS

For the record, I don't even hate CaS. I hate the net-negative and divisive effect it has on the whole product. It feels like two separate fanbases right now, and more should be done to remove the disparities between them rather than give in to this constant need to separate content by usergroup.

I'd like to see all voices (not just custom voices, but every voice) function like the silent voice, Voice 41. Voice 41 chooses intro and outro cameras based on your characters style, rather than voice.
This would remove the need for boring, generic cameras, and avoid oddities such as one of Xiba's outros (and many issues with using non-CaS voices, but you're not supposed to do that anyway).
I can't understand why this isn't already the case given that the capability is already there...

Also, I just thought... What are Devil Jin's cameras like? >.> I'm gonna have to check that out.

I like this and added it to the sticky. That should be the number 1 improvement.

Idle, do you think PS will look at the sticky and consider the items for the next game, or am I just spinning my wheels? Do they even ever come here and read what we post?

PS has filters. Which is to say specific people who point them to things to look at, all over the place, as well as the general public sentiment. They do very well at information gathering, but my experience has been, they won't compromise the core game ideal due to public outcry due to the idea that new content makes new fans (and thus newfanbases).

CaS stuff is "fun" stuff, even in the eyes of the devs. Why do you think all the silly gimmicky stuff? Because it's for fun.

the special equipment "back" slider has really been irritating me lately. its very difficult to place special equipment behind the char. i don't get it, why would you place anything inside your char, which is where the back of the "back" slider terminates for most of the special equipment. my bobba fett, ghostbuster and vincent van gogh CAS are disappointing because of this limitation. i really wanted to give vincent a plein-air back-pack easel and a painting but no dice. i had to settle for a bloody ear bandage

I want to be able to give my characters colored nails. Namco did it for Miharu Hirano's 1p costume in TTT2, why make it exclusive?

On a more serious note, since Namco made it possible to re-color weapons, I would like more pre-existing weapons to choose from for each character and some new ones in the future.

Also, I would like an option to equip earrings without having to mess with the X and Y axis. More options for accessories like that would be nice.

They should design equipment to fit around certain areas the same way, so there is less need to throw "CONFLICTING" messages everywhere. If necessary, alter models slightly to become tucked when they overlap with other pieces. Check to see if an individual piece clashes with another in an obtrusive way before marking a whole category of equipment (happens a lot with eyewear) as conflicting. I know for a fact that there is a certain face piece that conflicts with a certain helmet when they were able to be used together in 4. In other words, don't generalize.
(better yet, remove the conflicting restriction all together. You can already make your character defy physics and look ugly as sin with special objects. Why should it matter for the rest?)

Also, because there are so many pieces of armor that become strangely fat when worn, the player should be allowed a small edit to the scale of worn equipment, so they can fit everything together snugly when it can't be accurately predicted by the game.

Another thing, don't limit the color edit to only four colors. Plenty of equipment pieces have more than four spots that are prominent enough to warrant free color selection, but due to the game's arbitrary restriction, they're stuck with certain colors.

Also, allow the player to change the material of equipment pieces, in the same spots where color can be changed. Take a look at ModNation Racers for example. The customization in that game allows you to edit the material properties of certain objects, to make them look more like cloth or metal for instance. I'd like to see something similar the next Soul game.

I may have said it before but I think we need just a little detail expansions.
- Face Editing box / Feature toggle (CAS mode always has 99% ugly ass faces 1% decent) I dont want to give all my characters the same face, I'd rather make my own like in most other games.
- Expression selection preset (standard emotion. Its weird to have the character blank-faced)
- (Armour Break: On/Off) setting. Since they dont control your stats anymore, theres no need to force me to strip.
- Facial/Body hair as a seperate option
- Hair length Toggle / Hair orniement placement. (adjustable pony-tails. etc.)
- Unisex outer clothing and costumes. (men have more badass clothes then the women)
- Nightmare's arm (female/Male) as a universal accessory.

Dear Project Soul,

Please please create a perfect perfect game that uses the technology from the era 3033. Enclosed is my petty wish list that I have sourced from all over the globe - that is to say the internet- in the hopes that you'll listen to me in the same vein when you listened to me when I asked you to nerf the roster and make amendments to your original game.

Disastrous that was not. (sic)

Yours sincerely

Santa...

P.S

I'll never be satisfied with what you'll give me, but do your best anyway.Courage!

So they have these nice little sliders to make the body look perfect, and a bunch of preset faces? Just put sliders on the faces like Mortal Kombat Armageddon. If you don't, at least give us the facial hair system from SCIII.
