Maybe if I let Catgirl rant in here for a bit longer he'll stop for a while.
I don't mind helping you with that goal. I'm actually bored enough for this anyway. Just tell me when I need to quit.
At least Microsoft isn't known for shutting down mutliple online game's servers randomly, unlike Sony:
http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/ne...ne-support-for-several-ps3-games-in-2014.html
Assuming Elder Scrolls: Online in 2018 you'll still be playing the game on Xbox One, while Sony PS4 has already shut down it's online servers! (Speculation of course, but Sony is known for this type of behavior. I'd rather pay a premium online price to Microsoft then deal with Sony's poor interfaces and random server closes.)
Nice try. Sony Computer Entertainment published all those games. Is the TES published by Sony? No. That's why they could stop supporting the games listed above.
Furthermore, that's very likely a money issue. PS Plus will now step up to support that for the PS4. Hard keeping servers up with no fees...unless you're M$, that is, paying off everyone with the hard-stolen money from your customers.
AND.... Augmented TV, Skype chat while gaming, Voice commands, free motion games (where as Sony has only like 1), free hand motion features integrated into games. (In BattleField 4, on Xbox One if you move side to side in your seat you actually duck behind cover, on PS4 you can't.) Xbox One also has the Quick-Game Swap feature.
It's pretty obvious Xbox has more features, and now Xbox is no longer region locked, meaning we can play Japanese games, which IMO was the biggest leg-up the PS3 had over the Xbox360. XB1 also got Dead Rising 3 as an exclusive, which also features free-motion Kinect integration.
Those features would be nice and relevant if they actually, you know, went towards something that appealed to the...gamers that bought the system.
Augmented TV? Why do I need a $500 remote control that I could use with my voice?
Skype chat while gaming? Why pound your bandwidth anymore than it already is with 12GB Xbox One patches?
Voice Commands ARE in the PS4, by the way. And we don't need the camera to use them. A mic works fine.
Motion Games? Interesting, but that's not going to replace missing PS franchises to hardcore gamers.
Free hand motion features on Xbox One? Who needs a camera for that. BF4 has no motion lean on PS4?

Where's your TouchPad support, Xbox One?
Furthermore, I also vote that not having 10 minute plus install times for each game, not having mandatory installs, replaceable HD, Simultaneous Update-Downloads and installs, Headphone Jack, easier API, more rendering power, 3.5MM, and rendering Turtle Beach headsets obsolete should all count as feature check-marks in the PS4's favor.
Notice how they're game related. Interesting, isn't it?
Finally, you can't play Japanese games that simply won't exist for your system anyway. Japan will abandon the Xbox One just like the other Xbox consoles. And then, just like this generation, Japanese games will disappear from Xbox because they can't make money in Japan when nobody has an Xbox 360 console there. That's what happened to Persona 4 Arena. You can say that hasn't happened, or how do you know that, but the fact is, the Xbox 360 wasn't the first time that happened.
It's all going to look the same on a digital HD PVR, it's all going to look the same on Youtube. It's going to look practically the same on a 1080p television, with very slightly better resolution. But then again, if we honestly did care THAT much about resolution, then we'd never have a reason to play a PS3 or Xbox360 game again... right? Unless, it doesn't matter and we just play the game because we like it.
Native 1080P power equals the ability to power a higher frame-rate when necessary. You can feel frame-rate difference. Native 1080P means when 4K TVs come out, you'll be able to decently upscale to fit their resolution. Native 1080P means you're actually having next-generation performance. I could get 720P unscaled in 2007. And it appears with most games, that's all the Xbox One will be able to do if you want 60FPS, based on the majority of the games released for it so far. (IE: Not Forza).
That's really a moot point because Xbox One currently has more than twice the exclusives that PS4 has. I mean if we're going by quantity alone, PS4's launch line-up was a failure then. If not for the 3rd party publishers, PS4 would have only had like 4 or 5 games to play!!!
(Also I'm done derailing this topic, I've already proved my points. >:] Hope you have FUN! Bye bye) xD
Marathon, not a sprint. It's foolish to buy a console based on launch games alone, because they'll likely be some of the worst of the generation.
Also, your statement specifically naming publishers, is telling half the story. I could just as easily say if not for third party developers, the Xbox One would have less than the PS4.
Xbox Fitness.
And Forza 5.
All the others were developed by a third party.
On PS4
Playroom
Knack
KillZone: Shadow Fall
That means PS4 actually had more First Party developed titles as launch titles. But, as you're supporting Xbox, you have no real right to talk about First-Party developed exclusive games.
