Yep, by exciting I meant the parry in SF3. I could also name some other games like Marvel 2, where the brokeness of the game is the very reason why it became so popular and is so fun to watch.You said "exciting" in the first post and I don't see you mention that further.
My point is that I can't see OP mechanics being "exciting" to the viewers. /audience. Maybe to the players executing such an OP mechanic.
The step G I mentioned because it is an unintentional bug that is super broken on paper, but in reality it actually saved the game on the competitive level.
I'm still pretty sceptical about some decisions in VI, I'm just excited to see how are the strange as hell mechanics going to work in the hands of seasoned players.
