TVs are the ASUS monitors you saw last year - verified lagless. EVO uses the same rigs.
 
The ASUS monitors have sound, but the event is so loud they are drowned out. I have mentioned that SC4 is a game where sound is important (due to the start of the round being audible instead of visual), so we'll see if we can come up with anything. Right now, assume it'll be the same as it was for EVO last year.
 
Cool. How much is it? Soon as I get back, I'll look at plane tickets and tell you if it's a go or not, if you're still looking to room with someone.
 
Anybody wanna donate to the "Get a poor lil ghetto boy to his 1st large SC4 tournament in life and make his life bearable for the 1st time" fund? I can get the rooms but them damn Plane tickets are atrocious right now. Those who help will get their Angel wings and automatic 72 virgins in heaven without the jihad shit.

Are you coming from Houston or Seattle? If you're coming from Houston you may want to hit up Tekken Zaibatsu and check out how the other Houston players are coming. You may be able to carpool and save some money.

I'm mad for not going to East Coast Throwdown this past weekend. I wanted to, but there was no Calibur. But at least I will be at Dev though. For those who are reading this, just make sure that you aren't one of those people who could have came and regret not coming because you didn't.

I regretted not going last year, but I was still new to the game and did not want to travel to the other side of the country to go 0-2. Plus I wasn't hyped about the game at that time because of Hilde/Algol bs. If you look at last years responses, everyone had a great time at the event but not in the actual tournament for SC4.

But I am still hyped for this game and hoping to change some of that with myself coming out there and bring some of this hype we have here on the East Coast out West. So I hope to see you there because I am having a great time regardless.

Reminder for everyone (and you will see me post this a few times between now and the 14th)... if you have not paid online, your registration is NOT complete. Many people are going online, filling out the form, and then closing out before they pay... resulting in an incomplete registration.

This information is not kept and we will not be able to add you to the brackets, etc. until you get on the site and pay. I just do not want people thinking that the can fill out info on the website and then show up the day of to pay...
 
Actually don't I'm going to be able to come; the best flights I can find take around 10 fuckin' hours to fly from Syracuse to Phoenix and I would still have to leave Friday morning and leave sunday pretty early so that I can be at work on Monday. Right now, just not feeling that.

Just consider this is one of the very few SC4 majors left where multiple states are traveling for. You should really try to come if you can

We would have a full room but either you can split w/one of our guys or crash in the room. So far it's:

If you don't mind the floor and have nowhere else to stay, don't think it's a problem? Send me a PM and let me know your plan and maybe one of the guys will want to split a room w/you for more space.
 
Yeah, I know it's a big tournament and all, but I wouldn't be able to get there until Friday night and would still have to leave Sunday morning so that I can get back to work on time. All of this for a 340 ticket plus hotel, food, and probably even less sleep than I already get doesn't seem like a good idea. Plus my summer classes are going to be in session during that time. If I were back in Chicago, it'd be no problem, but alas.

Still, did anyone get in contact with GreatOne? I'm not going, but how much does he need? I have no problem supporting someone else who wants to go.
