Lobo has graciously offered to add another $100 to the pot, making it now a minimum guaranteed $600 for Soul Calibur IV!

We're not quite ready to announce our guaranteed pots yet (they're coming), but for the time being I can guarantee that SC4 will see AT LEAST a $500 guaranteed pot. Official announcements will be coming, and it may move higher, but I can guarantee at least $500 for the time being. ^_^

I haven't played much SC4 in a long time, but it will be at DEVASTATION 2010. Thought you guys might be interested in this, especially if you're playing other games as well (T6, SSF4, etc.).

DEVASTATION is back again for its sixth year and we are bigger and better than last year! To celebrate the success of last year, we are doubling our efforts to bring you 17 different games and 22 individual tournaments in 2010!

I'm in the area, and it WOULD be fun as hell to go. The problem is getting into tourney shape in SC4, T6, and maybe even Accent Core, lol.
 
ok NEW STIPULATION!!!!!

first three 3 out of staters who oblige to come and house at la casa de lobo, i will PERSONALLY cook a home made meal from scratch of your choosing...(you have to agree on one)...the night before the tournament. this way we can ensure power levels are up for the tournament.

No, he doesn't play fighting games. He quit around SSF2.

K preferably make something from The French Laundry Cookbook, but something from Ad Hoc at Home would be nice too.

hopefully there will be as much competition for SC4 as last year! Everything about DEVASTATION '09 was awesome!
 
yeah, Vicious won, he had a really good Lizardman, which is really surprising because I doubt many people expected Lizardman to be such a pain...
 
Yo if we get a large enough number of people is it possible to run a side team tourney for any games... namely a Team SC4/T6/BB. <- in that order or importance. Probably in the BYOC area?

Already got a MM for Dev: Xephukai ft ? for $? (we will figure this out once we get there. I dont do online trash talk...)

We're working on the schedule right now, but I'm sure we'll make room for side tournaments if the turnout is good. Friday would probably be the best day for this, but we can look at it when the tournament is getting closer. Make sure you bring all of the SoCal SC4 heads though!
