KitTheUltraDrunkMod definitely needs to come to EVO. You have plenty of time to plan, plus you should have vacation time saved by then since you only really need to take Thursday, Friday, and Monday off. And worst case scenario, tell your boss that you got swine flu or gonorrhea or something. But I need you there with me to yell stuff and drink and whatever else may happen. Get hype!!!!!
 
I'll definitely be at Evo 2010. I will be there for Tekken and Street Fighter but if Soul Calibur is there why not.

That wasn't the list of people that you had listed a minute ago. How the hell did you take out KDZ when he uses Cassandra and came in 2nd last year? Malek should be on this list, and Omega quit SC4. How is Zasalamel on here? And no Cedric or Dreamkiller? And take that nigga Something-Unique off this list too, especially since he sucks at making a top 8. :-)

I'll make more predictions once the games are officially announced, but if our top people are there, it will make for a really hype ass tournament and be more entertaining than everything else that's not Street Fighter or Mahvel.

And any ladies out there who play SC4 interested in participating in a whipped cream match? It will be fun.

There are no French if u read the post I had erased before the edit because no French are coming to our territory and winning this year.

Ceirnian is not on there because he is supposedly going to the army or some shit.

Besides that the question is a serious bet. I want to make money before I even get there. So where's the money Malice or are u scurred muahahaha.
 
I really want to make it to this especially if sc4 is in the line up. I'm trying to get up on sf4 and seeing what I can do with t6 but sc4 would make the trip worth it. Only problem is I've got a lot going on this summer and I'll need to be spending a shit load of money on some grad school stuff. Despite all that I'm seriously going to try to make it happen.
 
@Something-Unique: I'll definitely MM you in Vegas. Hopefully I should be able to level up with another year under my belt with this game because right now I am going hard at SC4. It took me a year to really understand this game, and now I will be working to put it all together.

And France better not win either. I will straight up be in the background making a fool out of myself on some Under Armour shit screaming "WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!"

@DManXIIX: I know if SC4 is in the lineup, it would make the trip that much sweeter, but one way or another, SC4 will be in Vegas. And if this community puts the effort behind it, we can do whatever.

But I am liking this game's chances, especially if EVO uses all LCDs. And with the reaction and hype that was generated last year, why wouldn't you want that back for another year?
 
Did you go into basic training yet Cedric? As long as you put in your leave request early and don't get shipped to somewhere like Afghanistan, I will see you there.

And what will you be doing in the Air Force btw?
 
NOW NOW... If i say anything like that about me, I will be forced to work from the place I am at... If i dont get the time off, i have to work remotely... so I think the easiest way around this for me would be to just work during EVO.
But we all know I dont wanna do that
 
I would love SC4 to return to EVO and I'll continue to support the game despite Bamco dicking us over with the lack of Broken Destiny console release....

But chances for it returning to EVO doesn't look good to me. 2009 was great for SC4 with all the community support, amazing website we got established here, and big regional tournaments, but consider now that NEC 10 had only 33 participants compared to last year's 89...is a pretty big drop to me even if it is only the game's second year. And the EVO organizers look closely at community support and participant numbers for big events.

So at this point, it looks like SC4 will be joining DOA4, Virtua Fighter, and Brawl in the EVO one-year-run club. But I still have my fingers crossed.

If anything, I'm counting on console broken destiny to spark up interest again and make a comeback to EVO just like Guilty Gear did.

I failed to make top 8 at the last Evo so what makes you think I will next year? Of course, if Le Bello makes it to console then it will be a different story. You will see before you... NIGHTMARE!

I had actually wrote the reasons as to why everyone I listed was gonna be up there before I edited my post but it was to big of a post so I erased it and just simplified it.

I think u will be up there because ur going back to ur true mains Lizardman and Talim. That simple!

No more Star Wars nonsense!

I'm only going back to Talim and Lizardman for the France tourney, since Vader is banned there as you already know. After that I'll go back to maining Vader and I'll use him again in Evo if SC is back, unless Le Bello becomes DLC before then, which in that case he will also be my main.

Don't get me wrong, I love Talim and Lizzy and they have been my mains during SC2, SC3 and early SC4, but I just have more fun using Vader and Le Bello in SC4. And at the end of the day, the most important thing for me is to have fun. :)

GEEZ guys, you took my sarcastic tourney placings literally, what a bunch of fuckwits. Well anyways, if and when I am consulted for SC4 to be at Evo, I will try and make the case. However they will want to see INCREASED numbers, we already had one of (if not THE) lowest turnout of all the main games last year. Right now you have a bunch of posers saying they will go for this community, but won't, life sucks blah blah blah and all that.

Remedy- rally your local troops and get a group going to Evo, and make it KNOWN to Evo friendly threads and boards, so they see SC4 is a supported and will be a well-populated game. Grandstanding like a prick on a board no one cares about isn't going to win you any internets, numbers will. Start with your local scene, 2 or 3 players for each one of you big talkers will certainly help this game's odds of being a main event.
