There happens to be a tournament in orlando coming up on the 28th called Southeastern Game Conference or SEGC. You can findout everything you need to know about it at SE-GC.com.
 
Yeah that was me. Hopefully I'll be practicing up with Kab sometime soon. I'll check out that site and I will most likely make it there.
 
Yes guys, SE-GC coming up at the end of July... Buuut after se-gc, in august 24~26, mlg in Raleigh nc, I'm planning on flying there... But if we can car pool it would be great, myself and enkindu are interested.. Dime are you and rob interested?.. I had asked rob on xbl but no response yet..maybe assassin also? Any other takers? We could all split on gas and a room;) if you live in Florida and interested in going, you can respond here or xbl, "ultra shockwave"

Yeah, i'm definitely interested in car pooling together. What kind of price am I looking at?

It depends if I can get time off. My PTO gets cleaned out August 15th, so I have to see what I can do.
 
Hell yea Colin!...okie, ball park price i believe would be is...525 miles there, oneway, average gas price $3.12 so $65.65 one way, but round trip comes to $131.30 so divided by four, comes to around $35 a head, room I'd say $60~$80 a night, so $40 a head for 2 nights, personal food, $15 bux a day so $30 for trip, and tourney entry fee, not to positive but I'd say $10 a game then at least $30 to get in.. So at least $40 to compete in anything...sooo...the total would be around $145.00....not to bad I'd say

i put in my request off for the MLG tournament. i REALLY want to make this carpool happen. give me some more details and lets solidify this plan, i dont want to wait and have everyone bail and then have to buy an expensive last minute plane ticket.

i have the money for the carpool, that is not an issue. i just want to make this happen!!!!!

As you can see the first hotel is sold out, but the second one is available, I will do some window shopping for cheaper rooms nearby. Let's get a head count, I need to know who's all in.
 
There's no way in hell my dad would let me go all the way to North Carolina. If by some magical persuasion by Jesus himself, then I would like for all 5 of us to go. There's no reason that kAb should be left out of this car pool. Plus, it would make it cheaper :D. I wanna go to this event SO BAD! The only way that I can think of this working is SEGC sponsoring me or DIME. That way I can tell my dad that they are paying for the trip. If it's free, knowing my dad, he would be okay with it. Then we can go with our original idea to carpool our asses up there and represent Florida!
 
Does anyone know what the story with converters is for SE.GC? iirc they are using 360, but said they'd provide converts of some kind...
