Started re-reading GoT last night. OOOOOOOH YEAH.

It's weird. There're 4 characters mentioned by name on the first (none prologue) page, and none of them are Ned.
Currently on my re-read of A Storm of Swords. Just finished the chapter where Brienne and Jaime get horses and they talk about girls and their moon's blood. I'm really looking forward to the cinematic events in my re-read because I blazed through them the first time. I don't know how easy the Red Wedding will be the second time since I know it's coming. Getting hype for the Dracarys and Mhysa chapters. Those are two of my all-time favorites, and the reason I started to like Daenerys (Before ASoS, I liked her but to me most of her chapters were a bit dry and peripheral). I liked Cat before the Red Wedding...

OH SHIT IDEA TO REVIVE THE THREAD FOR A LITTLE WHILE:

Favorite Chapter(s):
Favorite Added Scene(s) in the TV series:
Favorite Character(s):
Favorite Book(s):
Favorite Episode(s):
Favorite Adapted Scene(s):

I'll post mine when I have more time.

I'm still on CoK, and I've been slow on it which I shouldn't, I know. XD I'm at the part where Cersei figures out about Stannis's incest messages.

Favorite Chapter(s): Dany's first chapter in CoK ("She tried to imagine herself with Jorah, but Drogo's face kept appearing in her mind." THIS MADE ME SADDER THEN ANYTHING EVER.)
Favorite Added Scene(s) in the TV series: ... Can't think of one off the top of my head.
Favorite Character(s): Dany, Melisandre, Jon, and Tyrion (Melisandre just because she's probably the most magically inclined character that's not background furniture most of the time [Like Pryat]). Quaithe's growing on me as well.
Favorite Book(s): ALL OF THEM
Favorite Episode(s): ALL. OF. THEM.
Favorite Adapted Scene(s): Drogo's funeral. Like, I read it, then watched it, and they got everything so spot on, from the kinds of screams Mirri was thrashing about to where the dragons were when she came out. Cept Dany didn't come out bald but I'll take that as a victory.

Favorite Chapter(s): Uh.
Favorite Added Scene(s) in the TV series: "You love you children, it's your best feature. That and your cheekbones."
Favorite Character(s): Tyrion, Brienne, Varys, Pod, Bran and Jojen.
Favorite Book(s): SoS/FfC.
Favorite Episode(s): Baelor/Blackwater.
Favorite Adapted Scene(s): The Clegane fight at the Tourney of The Hand always stuck with me. And anything with Greywind.

Daenerys - Dracarys and Mhysa
Catelyn - The Red Wedding, despite how sad it was
Arya - The Dog Days

Favorite Added Scene(s) in the TV series:
The Arya/Tywin relationship
The Osha badassery
The lack of Sansa/Dontos
Outside of Qarth, and Daenerys with the Spice King

Tyrion of House Lannister
Arya of House Stark
Queen Cersei of House Lannister (A love/hate type of thing. SHE IS JUST SO FABULOUS)
