GGL's X-play SC4 finals results (televised)

This is awesome news, indeed. Congrats to all who participated. I won't even get to d/l it, but if this keeps up, fighting games (or gaming in general)could have their own ESPN....

Don't mind me. Just dreaming ideas again.....
 
Haha, yea I don't have cable cuz I don't watch TV. But I was gonna go over to a friends or my mom & pop's to watch it I suppose. Someone will tape it im sure. Like I said, we get a DVD, but I dunno when that comes.

I just wanna see what they edited out and what they put in, because our definition of an intense match and theirs greatly differ, they might just show all of us eating really stupid set ups >_<; which I'm hoping they didn't.

Like cha cha and Mamba have already said, this turned out a lot better than I thought it would (my scrubbiness aside). Everyone was extremely cool, and I learned a lot just from watching you guys. It was great meeting you all including naomi, spman, viscious, and aris.

Blackmamba - Congrats on getting first! This guy is for real folks! Yes, come to Texas and I'll give you a shot at your money back.

Alex - Way to choke, man! haha j/k

Cha cha - Hope you get better, and yeah, dump Tira. :)

Naomi - Thanks again for making that nasty drive out for us. Hopefully I can play you next time.

SPman and Aris - Great to meet you guys, and hopefully I get to play you guys next time too.

DOA player or not, the man understands high level fighting game concepts and mindsets. Doesn't matter where he came from, he's just solid. But I believe he stated he moved to this game after DOA died.

Good games to the top four placers, you guys were all cool as hell and fun to chill with. I definitely expect to play you guys again. I have a feeling mamba is going to keep getting better. Hopefully he can get some good local competition in New Mexico to train with. I also hope Cha can start taking his X more seriously and leave the Tira alone. Also, thanks to the Socal crew for setting up a gathering for us it was definitely fun.
