Having Bayonetta or Dante in this game would be incredibly silly. Wander..... I don't know how he'd play, since he can barely use a sword as is. But oh god what if he had a stage it would be the most hnnnng worthy stage ever.
imagine fighting in the desert and then after 2 rounds or so BAM, you're on top of Phalanx. I'd empty my wallet for this alone.
Since we're wishing here, Waka or Oki from Okami would be interesting.
Having other artists design characters like in 4 and maybe with slightly unique movesets aside from just a reskin of a style. Like, imagine if Soejima Shigenori designed a character, good chance of moeshit but could also be awesome as fuck [like Orpheus]
Possibly I-no or Sol Badguy or Venom or Eddie because fuck I love those two from Guilty Gear, the former can time travel and would probably have a motive pertaining to the souls swords aside from lulz, and the latter is more iconic of the series
