Hardest Character to master and win with.

I'll probably get assaulted by rape sticks for saying this, but I consider Amy very hard to master. Once an enemy has seen most of her good moves, they can normally block them a lot. Her stances are also very hard to keep track of, for me at least.

to be honest, i have to disagree. i understand its your opinion and i acknowledge that, but you don't always need to use her so called "good moves" all the time. If your opponent is seeing it, then you must be using it too repetitively or stringing them together in obvious recession. Her stances are nothing compared to other characters like ivy so...i fail to see this in any way i look at it. if anything, she has the least compared to anyone else.

I want to know why you guys think Mina is easy?

Yeah, she lacks really good combos, but I think that's what makes her hard. She requires a lot of discipline to play, and you gotta know how to get out of bad situations using fundamentals instead of having a get out of jail free card. She just lacks anything that I consider broken, unlike many of the other chars in the game (her CF game was a bit broken pre-patch, but now it's just a good tool). She's also GI bait so you have to have some good yomi skills to really take advantage.

I think, and I'm going out on a limb here, Mina like other predominantly ranged characters is mostly black-listed simply because of her range. I say this as an Ivy user that barely ever plays ranged and prefers SW and CL, using WP when necessary. She's not lacking like say, Rock, who IMO only seems ranged. I've seen some very unique Mina players. Which is one thing I like about her; with a smaller fan-base, you don't see as many trends. On that note, I've also seen some people using her that should use their X-Box as a car jack as a more practical function than playing SC.

Edit: I most certainly did not!! I just thought maybe you guys loved penis! It's not like I was scouring 8WR in search of Phallic Objects.... OK maybe just one search for curiosity... but that's it! I swear! Level up... WOOOHOOO! I get +4 to Ogres now!

Mina really is lacking in everything but range. Most of her good moves ONLY work at long range, unlike rock or asta or ivy.

To me, that makes some matchups really fun.

Mina vs a good Taki is one of the most fun matchups in SC4, as it revolves around pure yomi.

Check this link to Enjoy a real Astaroth; a man who doesnt complaint about this monster and break every rule of the game... This is Mike Stampede.

-Stryker-

Buenos matches Stryker!!!

Pero mas impresionado estoy con Tolky que con Mike.

Ese Kilik me gusto mucho. Excelente, mucha tecnica y buena defensa y ejecucion.

Me gustaria hablar contigo sobre unas cosas. Si puedes, mandame un PM.

yeh i dont really know what you mean with Asta I find him to be a monster. Im gonna go with Rock from my experience. Everything he does is either a grab or leading to a grab so to be sucsessful you have to be next to Phycic. Furthermore you can grab break his ground grabs and... Eeeh i dunno hes just very hard to use well i find

Raphael for sure

every one of his moves have a gaping weakness

nothing of his is abuseable

everything good is a vertical

you try winning with limited horizontal use

close thread

Keywords here are not only master, but WIN WITH. Anyone mentioning Ivy is automatically invalid because he's also saying WIN WITH, Ivy has so many matchups in her corner that it's not that hard to win with her ONCE you master her.

Hmmm.....

Raphael is up there for sure, high level play we're all having a hard time winning with him.

Rock

Mina isn't hard to master I'd say, she's surprisingly simple, but "winning" is a whole other game.

Taki is very hard to master, but then again, once you do, I don't see "Winning" with her as some super hard, uphill battle.

Rock and Raphael it is.
