I actually joined this site on 12/10/10 but never made one of these newcomer threads... talk about being spastic lol. I really enjoy playing as Raphael, Zasalamel, Rock and Cervantes. I used to play as Astaroth but I wanted a better challenge using Rock who isn't the best because he has lots of shakeable stuns but he has great tech traps. I do know some of the notation like the the directions 1-9 but I thought it used the A,B,K,G letters for example Zasalamel's 6+A,B instead it uses something entirely different :p Hope I can contribute a lot to this site and I'm very excited for SCV!

On a side note, I actually ran into hammertime(is he a member of 8wayrun or has anyone heard of him?) who I watched youtube videos of him and his friends playing offline and played quite a few games with him online while playing as Zasalamel. He told me in a message that I should be throwing more instead of just poking because I wasn't able to break through his great defense enough.

The oldball letters you see in different character notations, usually refers to thier own stances. for example...Maxi notation:

6A, RO A, PSL 1, RC A

the RO stands for Right Outer, PSL=Pure soul loop, and RC is Right Cross....being that maxi has 6 stances its just easier to abbreviate.

All characters have at least a few stances and they are abbreviated into thier notations.

I play on XBOX as well. If you ever feel like getting some games in, we can have ourselves a "low tier whore" fight lol. Being that all the characters you play and me, they are considered low on the tier....LOL

Judging by your gamer tag your bout as old as me. (that is if the 78 in you tag referes to your birth year). Im one of the older members here to so it will be nice to play someone a little more my level.

The numbers after my Xbox gamertag are pretty much nonsensical and don't correspond to anything they were just the same digits that I used in my old gamertag. Hope this does not bum you out at all that I'm not the same age as you because I would like to play you in some "Low tier whore" fights :p Thanks for explaining more of the notation to me.

I've actually seen you on PSN recently, just never played you. I remember you joining a game I was in, or I joined one you were in, and someone on the mic was asking about your name, haha. If you ever want to play while I'm on, I'll probably have a random room open, my PSNs are Destinizish as well as SugarRainbowLove - if you ever see one of the two don't be afraid to send a message. I'll invite you if I have private slots and you can't join as a result.

haha I do remember either you joining a game that I was in or I joined a game you were in and that the fact someone was asking about my PSN gamertag. I actually think I have seen some youtube videos of you playing against a friend of yours who was using a created character with shiskebabs.
