Hypothetical Patch Changes(Not For Arguing)

Nah, I think it's the other way around. 3K is definitely i14. 44[A] differs from 1A because 1. it guarantees the AA(BE) combo on everyone. and 2. you can do it from crouch. So things like 1B burst into 44[A] combo was possible. If I'd change the move at all I'd just make the non-charge version a few frames faster.

And you're right. Looks like there ain't gonna be a patch. At least for this version of the game. They're more likely to release an updated version with extra chars and give the patch through a new game.

But again, the combo was only super deadly near a wall. Was it really worth nerfing when her damage isn't that great everywhere else? If ANYTHING, I'd want a few frames taken off so she has more viable break options into the combo. 44K is stupid to get people to block and breaks in 9(Never gets the crush when you need it because of this), 1B+K is linear and breaks in 12. Not really consistent. WR K is TORTURE to try breaking with. Deceptively short range, breaks in 15, iWR adds 5 frames (At least that's what I read at one point) so it becomes i22.
1A should work consistently. The bad hitboxes are stupid.

@kalas The WR B BE - CE combo was 119 damage for 150 meter. Pat gets similar results from 66B - CE. And that move is -2 and shit. <_> I saw nothing wrong with it personally. Making it do 80 was SOOOO uncalled for. It's 150 meter. Seriously guys?

Speaking of which, Pat's 66B falls into the category "retarded" as I mentioned before.

And by the way:
WS B BE ~ CE = 110dmg, if you evade a move. Still not that much for 150% meter (hello Pyrrha Omega 236A CE), but it's ok. The slight damage buff should affect her launchers, not WS B BE.

Btw, I just tested and you can actually 1A combo after a 1B guard crush <_> that uh.. FCC is it called? Crouch cancel. tap 6 and whatnot. So that's irrelevant. I just want the combo to be more consistent against the cast. No reason why a select few should be exempt.

Anyway thinking of this again, even posting this wasn't a good idea. I just wanted feedback is all. If this turns into a pool of idiocy and arguments, I apologize.
 
Why would you want a 1A combo after guard burst instead of crushing with a move that gives a 44[A] combo?
AA BE whiffing after 1A when it's used as a stepkill is annoying, but whiffing issues are something every character has to deal with. It's not like she's lacking in good stepkills.

It's impossible to not have arguments with a thread like this... To do that, everyone would need to think exactly as you do. The question is, whether or not people can be civil about their arguments.
 
I would like:

- SCIV Xianghua's 66A back. If you input 66 [ A ], you would get Leixia's current 66AA.

- A new move, 66 [ B ]. It would cancel 66B with a fake twirl into the guard crush version, just like 66BbB cancels the second hit of 66BB.

Nothing to do with balance, I'd just like to have these moves.
 
honestly, i just want 3B+K K to be confirmable if my opponent ACs back off of my launchers, but i think that would put her off axis (it would have a delay?)... hmmmm

6b+kB : basically the first hit of 6B+K with FC 3bB as the second hit, of course with less advantage on block than FC 3bB and less gauge damage too.

just ideas.....everything is fine in my opinion... I like her very much the way she is
 
66B (the first hit) shouldn't guard burst. If you don't have a bar of meter and you get a burst on the first hit of 66BB you've just wasted your guard burst.

If 66B shouldn't guard burst, I think 66BB shouldn't be steppable to one side. That would make things more fair.
