This was quite possibly the finniest statement in those commercials I ever heard.

Yes. When they talk about specifications, they HAVE to be 100% honest. Would you be pissed as hell if you saw a commercial for a TV that said it could display 1080p and after you bought it, the display was only 720p? Of course you would.
