I wish players on PSN can play against those on XBL

Ubisoft IS the only major European PUBLISHER. DICE is a developer and EA publish their games.

I'm not forgetting anything. I'm aware of these numbers. They decided to sell hardware at a loss, and this is the price they pay for that decision. They can afford to. As far as Activision is concerned, they are an anomaly among games publishers. Why dont you bring up EA's numbers? You seem to like cherrypicking. How about this:

Nintendo profits:

Fiscal 2006: $0,79 bill profits
Fiscal 2007: $1,93 bill profits
Fiscal 2008: $4,27 bill profits
Fiscal 2009: $5,55 bill profits
Fiscal 2010: $2,45 bill profits
Fiscal 2011: $0,94 bill profits

After that it starts going downhill, but i'm pretty sure their finances will look good next fiscal unless they dramatically drop the price of WiiU. Compare that to Sony's numbers and all other game companies with the exception of Activision and Nintendo suddenly look pretty competent.

2) True. But it was'nt a big deal.

3) It's not a harddrive, its just a memory chip. The one you find in most SD cards. The idea was for ppl to use their USB harddrives to store downloaded games. Most ppl allready have a few of those laying around. No big deal.

This is an interesting discussion but doing it in this thread is beginning to look pretty nuts:p

True about the data, but it's convience is more if the data is stored on the hard drive, rather than having multiple saved data thumbnails.

Why does the Wii-U sell like such crap, and get obliterated on the market compared to the Xbox? Surely if Nintendo was such a competent company, their Wii-U wouldn't have sold so terribly. Not to mention, many people wanted to buy them at the store, but they were "Out of stock". Nintendo fails to appease it's consumers, thus they fail.

"No big deal"? What? Having a download that takes up 5 GB on a small little 8 GB hard drive is no big deal? The fact that Wii-U's biggest storage space is only 32 GB, whereas Xbox offers up to 350 GBs? Why the hell should I get USB thumb drive save files? I own an Xbox, and it doesn't suck because I can store data on it. Thank god for modern marvels huh?

Nintendo always sucked back in the day when I was a kid. I used to love Star Fox and Donkey Kong, Banjoy Kazooie, ect. But when I would go to the stores they would always be "Out of stock" because they would hardly print any. I just remember as a little kid my older brother struggling to find a copy of Perfect Dark for over 4 months. Walmart or Best Buy never had any copies. And the one's online were generally out of stock.

Nintendo sucked balls when I was a kid, and they still suck. I can only say "they suck!" now because I am used to gaming companies present day who know what the hell their doing! I just thought it was normal for newly released games to be permanently out of stock at stores for months, and for their to be waiting lists on getting games.

In any case, Kamika, you are clearly an intelligent person, and I'm sorry for taking this off topic. I would just like to say, I'm not just some random Nintendo hater. I have bought and played Nintendo games since I was a little kid, I've just grown to dislike them for terrible business management now that I understand how businesses / marketing works. It's like Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine of Intellectual Property which they keep to themselves and don't make a sequel in about 5 years, and when they do it's some low budget hand-held Zelda wind waker re-make rip off.

Think about this: What if Nintendo licensed Zelda out to the developers who made Dead Space 3, or Cryo? That game would rock! Or, what if they licensed Pokemon to Square Enix for a MMORPG? That shit would sell like hot cakes! But they don't..... they just sit on these titles.... then make small games for them. That's why I dislike Nintendo and think they're incompetent. Sorry for the rant.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, you didn't really read anything that we were posting about. Sure some of it was off topic, but discussing stuff like the devalue of Japan's Yen making it a prime time for them to stop outsourcing and instead should increase selling more to the USA to boost profits. That's considered "useless ramblings" to yourself?

I'm sorry all this important real life stuff is over your head. But Kamika said a lot of good points. And as far as the topic on hand (assuming you even read Mr Marred) you would have noticed I said Xbox uses premium servers that don't work like standard internet accessible connections, that's why sites like IE and Youtube need to make specific apps for Xbox in order for you to access their sites through the premium connection. Which would make a PSN app semi-possible. To answer the topic on a more thorough note.

There's not really anything to say. Nintendo won the 7th gen by a landslide by appealing to casuals. Sony is barely clinging to life and Microsoft is becoming disgustingly Orwellian. 8th gen is shaping up to be absolutely awful. Upgrade your PC and hope for the best.

Not only have you continuously set yourself into a clear standing where it's obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about. You followed up your entire argument by liking a post that stated exactly what you were trying to argue against.
