*insert character* is over powered!

There has been many many threads claiming that someone or another is overpowered.
If you think that a character is overpowered, before posting a thread here (that will get locked), take the time to learn the character you are having trouble with. Go into training mode, select whoever is giving you trouble, pick your main to train on.

Learn how their combos work; which moves initiate the combo, set the AI to block, and retaliate using moves based on frame data all over this site.

Go through their move list, and try every move. Get a good idea what its start up frames look like. Learn which moves are punishable, and which moves are safe by using the frame data that's all over this site. See which moves you can punish your main with, this will let you know what moves with your main are risky.

Now, after spending some time doing all the above. Set the AI to the highest difficulty, and fight them over and over again in versus mode. After you can win consistently, go find a sparing partner (preferably offline, but online is better then nothing).

If you still are having trouble after all this, then when you go to make a thread here; DO NOT say that *insert character* is over powered! Politely ask about how your main matches up against that character, and more ways you might deal with them. There are plenty skilled players here who are willing to help.
 
Alpha Patroklos is overpowered.
I am maining him, have used him in competitive play and can boast 46.30.29 in training mode with him so far.
Very few toolsets in this game even compare to his.

Ok, now lets get a casual player saying Raphael is broken because Prep A+B is cheap to balance it out, lol.
 
Once upon a time there was a man who was full of swagger blonde and had a beard.He ran the kingdom with a sword made of ice. In the early days of battle he destroyed people with his powerful combination of swift launching slash into knee blow. Even if his foe had defended against his mighty swift launching slash successfully he could knee blow after and interrupt his opponents counter attack....oh and he had other stuff too that no one cares about. Everyone in the kingdom started complaining to the grand wizards of equality that this blonde man was too powerful and couldn't be stopped. These wizards cast a Spell on the blonde man. He was now WEAK. His strikes felt like a paper cut and he quickly became a joke to everyone else in the kingdom.

Alpha's regular A throw and command B throw BOTH do excess of 100 dmg. As does the safe mid that is unreactable you mix it up with. All have RO potential.

Bite me.
 
Hilde is overpowered because she has a long range mid thats +12 on block and gives 120 damage meterless
 
Natsu is OP because I think Natsu is OP. Nonstop attacking up and down no time to react and random teleporting all over my ass while I lack the ability to even Guard Impact lest I wish to part with some Guage and let's face it.. Just Guard isnt very viable either. /endrant

I always hated Maxi no matter what SC game it was.. the way he plays is like autopilot.. just press buttons and he rolls around swinging his little sticks that somehow manage to do as much damage as Siegfried's sword lol.
