[Jul 6, 2012] Evolution 2012 (Las Vegas, NV)

So what's up with rooming for EVO? Anybody looking to split? Will be arriving noon-ish on Thursday and leaving Monday.

I have backup plans, just looking to room with SC players.

Let me know plz k.

1) If I remove battery from PS3 wireless controller (which prevents it from working as wireless controller) will I be able to use it at EVO?
2) Need to share a room with someone, there is two of us coming this time, so if anyone has spare space please contact me.

EVO has already stated that even with the battery removed, PS3 wireless controllers will not be allowed.

What's the difference between a "Tournament Only, No Sunday Pass" and a Competitors Pass?

Cause i'd still like to register if possible.

One allows you to be in the ballroom on Sunday during the finals (the competitor pass), and the other doesn't. Both allow you to play in the tournament. They're gonna have a stream setup in another room for people to watch that don't have a pass for Sunday.

If we both don't make top 8, we can kick it.

I'd like that. Maybe play some games too, i think one of the things holding me back is that i only play online, due to a lack of a local scene. I never get to to practice with good players offline so i'm not too experienced with characters who are being played at their best.

I'm down. I really only play online, too. Aside from the rare visists to Krayzie's house. Don't you live up by Richmond? But yeah, we'll def kick it and play. But I'll be in top 8, so we'll see ;D

I'm going to start looking into getting a room for the weekend fuck relying on people. The main issue i will have is the whole lack of transportation while in vegas.

Everything in Vegas is pretty much walking distance. Casinos, resturants, whore houses (shit the whores come to you. But I wouldnt know bout that stuff). Having transportation while IN vegas is not that big o deal. Just a ride from the airport to the venue/hotel is what you would be most concerened about

So I can get a room for like a $120 bucks for the weekend. Pretty cheap but now i need a way to vegas.

I know they have flights that leave out of San Diego every 45 minutes going to vegas. And round trip 1 person is like $125
