Mai and Vice are both chinese. While this isn't a problem in and of itself neither character is chinese in the games.

I guess I can live with that in Vice's Case:

The film's written by two people who ain't never wrote shit before and directed by the guy who directed The Medallion. That's right. THE MEDALLION STARRING JACKIE CHAN.

Go ahead, click the link, see the rest of the cast, look at the poster that some kid cranked out of photoshop in 15 minutes. And if you're a fan, it's okay to cry. I mean i know the plot was not shindler's list or anything but did we have to make a clone of mortal kombat?
 
I hope Mature is in it.
But this may be so bad (Chun-Li/Dragonball) that I may not see this as well.
Or better yet, hopefully something happens over at the studio, and they come out with a bootleg copy before the movie comes out (Wolverine) so, I can enjoy without paying.

And are those pics of the actresses from other things, or is Vice gonna wear white and have Mai doing flying Liu Kang kicks?

Edit - Just saw who was playing Chizuru. lol.

I haven't laughed for a good few days... of course, I'll be labeled the annoying prick who doesn't stop laughing and would probable get threats from hardcore KOF fanboys, but it will be worth it XD.
 
cuz BOTH of the Street fighter movies worked out SO well that this was just a GREAT idea. And the dragonball movie is a summer blockbuster if I've ever seen one o.O

Frankly I don't know where the pics are from. I just googled the actors and actresses to see what they look like for comparisons. They may be of character, they may not be. Chances are the way that actors and actresses get around (and the rate at which they have their picture taken) they could be from any where but looking at the way Mai's actress is dressed in that picture who can say. There are also like 50 different pics of her in that dress flying around. The pic with all the metal strutting is definitely from set however.

You might also be interested to know that my searches turned up this picture as well:

But I omitted it as it was not inline with the tone of my original post. That may very well be Miss Q in costume. And the original artist makes a valid point.
 
on another note Kyo is actually asian while Goku wasn't so the whole he's a white boy thing is actually valid and STUPID.

however the biggest fail is of course Mai, this can't be a good thing..........
