Leixia Combo Discussion

Problem is that I swear the opponent has managed to block my 2nd CE sometimes even when timed the same as when they work. So do I just botch the timing sometimes (what is the timing, anyway? Immediately upon exiting the cinematic?)? Does double CE always work once the first CE hits?
Yes, timing is key. Immediately after her CE ending animation I CE again and it hits. Be quick or it can be blocked and you will suffer.

Edit: I usually CE after 3B.
 
Only for your interest:
CH 1A AA BE connects at closerange except against Leixia, Pyrrha, Viola, Hilde, Algol, Pyrrha Omega and BS Voldo.
But you really have to hit anyone else at very closerange.
CH 1A 6BA 6BA connects at closerange. At mid range it won't work against some chars because the attack throw doesn't come out. And the 2nd 6BA completely whiffs against Ivy (die!) and Raphael.
I don't have the numbers here right now but CH 1A 6BA 6BA >>> CH 1A 3B 3B+K or CH 1A A+B 9K or CH 1A 3A+B FC 3B.
 
6KK is only guaranteed against Leixia, Natsu, Pyrrha, Pyrrha Omega, Cervantes, Mitsurugi, Yoshimitsu, Maxi, Xiba, Aeon, Nightmare, Dampierre and Voldo. So it only connects on half of the cast. I hate character-specific combos.
 
The AT on 6BA very rarely comes out against Nightmare and Siegfried unless near a wall. There may be others. Against them AA BE or 6KK are probably better choices in a stun combo

Yeah, there are so many character specific limitation with the CH 6BA combos, I always forget to mention every single one (like 6BA 6BA not connecting on Nightmare/Siegfried for whatever reason). It's a pity that it's such a mess. =/
 
I've all but done away with 6BA combos for that reason. I don't always remember all the characters it works against and which ones it doesn't mid-match. Sometimes I'll get a CH throw off the A if they step, but then i just use 6KK or throw mixup if I'm unsure
 
If you have 1 meter you can do a CE after 6BA AT. If you are building your meter then I would mixup with B+K for more crouching options (throws WR B etc).
 
So as I'm sure we are all aware, CE into CE doesn't work anymore as of patch 1.03. It was fun while it lasted. Will be editing the combos thread accordingly.
 
The CE CE combo isn't bad.. yeah no I'm not trolling cause I can't somehow connect it out of 20 attempts :) But tbh, it's not a big nerf. People who are wrong on timing can actually be punished if the second CE doesn't connect, but if it connects, hail to you guys X)
 
Great, because Leixia need further nerfs! And because she was the only character who could connect two CEs in a row! Why not just scale the 2nd CE more? Friggin' idiots over there at Namco Retardai. Seriously. What is wrong with them?

Fuck Namco.. They're nerfed Leixia too bad.. But not too bad that I'll quit her as main. Anything Namco make her I still will main her.

Cervantages can too. And you know what's bullshit? Natsu (I don't know for sure she can, I'll take your word for it), Mitsurugi and Cervantes can ringout with their CEs. Leixia can't, ever.

Looking at their track record insofar, they'll probably nerf her even more in the future. Because people just refuse to stop trying to stop her "mix-ups" with non-pokes, resulting in them getting hit and it appears that Namco Bandai are taking cue from whining online scrubs.
 
If Namco will try to nerf her in the future, no doubt any Leixia player will lose more often than winning. It's like T6BR Zafina or even worse.

So is this 66B,B not a NCC anymore? Really bad news for me. It's one of my range tools to spam if opponents tend to space with you (cough Viola cough). I'll just get lucky if the second B get to hit the opponent, and follow up with tech traps.

On topic: So CE CE is no longer guaranteed, I've been switching combo fillers. Leixia's CE hits ground, so can we use that as advantage?
 
Yo guys. As I said, there aren't any other changes to her besides the loss of the CE combo. 66BB still works the way it did before. still NCC, (not NC). I tested all the guard break stuff and it's the same. So I dunno who was saying otherwise, but the rest of her move set has been left alone.
