Leixia next patch 1.04 update???

Hi guys!
Please give me the advices of what you guys like to see leixia in the next patch 1.04 update. I wish there is no more nerf for her please PLEASE NAMCO. She is needs to improve.
1. I would like to see her damage output improves.
2. Please give back her 11AB (low then mid) hit just like xianghua instead of low then low 11AA just like the current useless one :(.
3. Please improve her switching just kidding moves such as <-- A+B B, <---AbB or 6aB. I hope it can come out faster and trickier. If it have guard impact during switching just kidding moves in between that will be good :) just like xianghua SC4 while raising B there a guard impact.
4. Please improve her ground whiff of 33 or 99 BB, hit grounded opponent better.

first i would like for them to revert Leixia back to how she was before the first patch. and hopefully a new SC5 soul edition or something comes out for added new moves and characters. i'm still torn between Leixia having the 6K that her mother had or keeping her 6KK. sure the other's a high but Leixia's leave her bad on block from either kick. but on the plus side works well from several combo follow ups. but the just kidding stances would be awesome! and i totally agree on the 11AA thing. it's so obvious that even with a fake out if the person jump hits immediately after the first hit then there's no possibility for a follow up in the first place. that B would negate that and punish jumping. leixia really has no 50-50 options like a lot of characters in the cast do. i want more of those. since it seems to be a really big deal in this game.
 
Well, to start off lets put her back to pre-patched form.
I want her faints to not be so...blaurg. Anyone with half a mind would instantly BB me if they catch me doing anything remotely faint like. I would love for her to have her mother's crouch throws, though.
How do you think 8B+K would be if she always jumps over them, and faces away?

All I can think of at 4am.
 
Hi guys! I also forgot to add that, in her 3K there nothing afterward. Namco, they removed too much of xianghua useful moves :(. They should've 3kA like xianghua instead of just one kick then nothing for follow up.
 
I miss xiangys 33 bb (her twisting swing I think) and her 2Bk (split kick move)in sc4 but theres no hope for that being added this late in the game. She needs a little more damage though, I agree.
 
1.01 Leixia was viable. I'd like to start by getting that back. 22K's knockdown, 6KK's forced crouch, 33BB's pushback, many other little things... they all really added up to make her viable. I do agree that WS bBE was really dumb, so I'm okay with making it less evasive. And then just fix the little fundamental problems she has in her moveset. For example, AA BE needs to be a natural combo. 1A needs to be faster. And 22_88B needs to not double back on itself. I can get around it by doing 87412B while stepping in the 8 direction, but it's slower that way.

I have 'stepped' out of a vertical so many times only to step back into it with this move -_- Also, even though I don't main Leixia, I loved messing around with her 1.01 self. Damn, she felt so powerful. How about bringing back 1.01 Leixia while keeping the CE/WS B BE changes intact?
 
I've done that countless times too. That's why I'm trying to find as many ways to cheat at 8WR as possible. If you can do 87412B fast enough, the pause that results from the motion is quite minimal, but most importantly, you continue in the direction you originally stepped in. It's a good way to do that move. Other motions that work are 89632, 21478, and 23698. Basically you want to roll around to the opposite side without hitting neutral. If you hit neutral, you leave 8WR.
 
I think she loses to the basic mechanic of the game. this is a game that rewards blocking too much. her single hit and combo damage are both very very low. It takes 20,30 hits to kill someone so you have to attack so many more times. Going back to rewarding blocking, you will be countered easily after being blocked because every character has a fast move. Sure she's one of the fastest in the game. But not as fast as Natsu and Maxi. Not as long range as Mitsu or Raphael. And the elephant in the room would be DAMAGE. In SC IV after guard crush you take more damage so it was worth being aggressive a bit. Now why even bother guard crush. Her single most damaging combo (other than wall) is around 90,100. Which is only slightly more than 1/3 bar.

Based on other characters, Natsu's lack of range (although she has those crazy ninja moves) gives her damage and speed. Yoshi's lack of combo damage gives him a fantastic CE and like Natsu he has many great approaching moves and mix ups and great lows. Mitsu's mix up is just scary and again sooo much damage. What does Leixia have for trading in her damage? Makes me wonder......

If we are talking about improvements, although honestly I'm not that optimistic Namco is going to do anything. I wanted to go back when I first stared playing SCV. I looked at her speed and damage and I thought OK she must have great mix ups maybe even a low throw. But nooooooo.... OK she must have the best CE or CE combo in the game. But a 75% meter combo does 70-80 damage.......OK she must have some crazy moves like Natsu but what do we get? A slow feint that does not have one low mix up?.........then I went out of ideas.

So true! That why i dont like Namco sometimes :(, they just want to make samurai or ninja the best :(.

With viola, she is so god in this game as well, although, she's lack of damage output but trading with her crazy combos and fast poke it already bring back everything for her. Leixia, low damage out put but trade with nothing but with lack of damage :(. Most of her combo must use of BE to do damage but it not even strong my god :(
 
I don't think they will make any changes to the move sets. But just improving some moves is good enough for us, too.

1. 44[A] should be much much faster so it has some use at least. Now it's completely useless. I have never succeeded a hit once.

2. WR B BE should be buffed. I get that they wanted to nerf it because it's an evasive move. But it doesn't lead to anything big in the first place. At least have a good success rate. I have been countered while trying to pull this off so often these days.

3. CE.......a 75 damage, decently fast CE is acceptable. But it's real strength is being able to combo into it. Just look at its damage after comboed into it. Pardon my non English origin, I simply cannot find a suitable word to describe it. (exclude dirty words of course)

4. Throws. Her throws should definitely be buffed given her lack of good lows. Everything in the game is supposed to have a counter right? Counter to block would be low and throw (unblockable aside), so give her throws some buff. After all there is a 50% to break throws in the first place. So a decent buff to her throw won't make her "too good".

5. of course all her just kidding should be faster to have some real use as well. If possible maybe make some her just kidding moves to have unblockable versions just to confuse opponents.

6. She does not have any JF move right? I could be wrong. So maybe make some of her moves like 11/44/77 B have a JF version that does more damage. Exactly like Pyrrha's 236B. Speaking of which is such a good counter move, I get screwed by it so many times.

That's all i can think of now. I believe that most of my requested changes can realistically be easily achieved. But look at CoD MW3, a much more popular game. There are also many many easy things the developers can do to make the game much better but will they ever do it?

It's funny. Before 5, I mained Talim in every game she was in. And this comment makes it feels like I'm just being put into all...that again. Only they are doing it with one game rather then across three. But not as much.

I have never played Talim but I have faced some very good Talim players. I don't remember much but i think her move sets are much more diverse and her damage was not as bad as Leixia when compared to other players in the same game was it?
 
They're not adding any new moves. It's not worth adding to a serious list of what you want patched.
