Leixia next patch 1.04 update???

the thing that annoys me is ^(this) is the reason why she got nerfed. people didn't know how to fight her and complained that she was too OP even though she wasn't to begin with. so namco, instead of testing it out or being the complainers themselves, take the lazy way out and just nerf her. that's why japanese gamers get bodied in SC so much cause they are used to hiding behind patches and player carrying i guess. all in all. patches are done in haste and aren't even thought through.
Japanese/Asian gamers where kicking ass at Evo so I guess your statement there is false man.
 
Maybe they were the exception not the rule. Not every player from Japan went to Evo? @_@

i was referring to the world tourney since i hadn't been able to watch EVO but i should have made that clear. my bad.

EVO is basically the world championship. And the asian scene basically dominated and the majority of the top 8 is from the asian scene.

She needs buffs, and damage. Give us higher damage.

it wasn't random. i said i was referring to the world tourney earlier. i wasn't just saying they suck all the time. i was just meaning that they lost badly in that tourney and history-wise the Japanese aren't known for their 3D fighting game skills that i know of. i based what i said off of prior history. not random generalizations.
 
She would be effective if people could actually fear getting hit by her.
Doesn't she have more issues aside from damage? I think 50-60 damage combos would be nice personally. Not sure if that's over the top. But I want a little bit of her lost guard break potency, 6KK not pushing back as much, 22K not pushing back. The 0 on hit would be fine if it didn't send them to the neighboring country on hit. WR B BE having a little more evasiveness back. Maybe better GI properties. Idk. Couldn't they just make it so the evasion frames were different if you use it on wakeup? I also want random things like WR A+B being NCC, 1B+K's and WR K's hitboxes not being deceptively short. maybe 11A having better frames on hit without the second string. I hate the input as it is. It's stupid that you get -4 unless you do the second shot which will more than likely never hit. I also kinda want 2A+B to either be a few frames faster or to have it so you can attack out of the cancel faster. And 1A should hit a little faster so you can actually counterhit bitches instead of hitting them right after the counter hit window is over. That's all I can rant about atm without bringing up lost moves like the 1KK cartwheel mid option and 3A... and... -tears- WR K DX oh God I'm going to go cry myself to sleep. Thanks for ruining my night.

I saw what you said later but idk anything about the World Tourney results. I just know what I saw on the Evo Stream and getting bodied wasn't what I was seeing.

Problem is you could potentially give her all that and make her broken or top tier. Not saying it would happen or it will happen, but giving her better damage would make her viable enough but not potentially make her incredibly strong.

I dont care personally as long as she gets something of use. I am just saying they dont want to be too lax with the buffs or else low tier characters will turn into insanely good ones. Which honestly....would not even be bad. Would make the game more fun to watch. Screw it, give her all that AND the damage. Yeah.....

glad to see Japan is stepping their game up then. the more competition the more hype.
 
Really? I didn't think any of those were too major except WR B BE. Even like just 50 damage from launcher combos would be fine. Right now it's like 37-45. Some of them like 2A+B and 11A were insignificant things that I wish for but won't happen. Though 11A is useless regardless.

But leixia's not a 20 hit combo seemingly infinite pressure string 50-50 BlazBlue-esque train wreck. So I don't think the same thing would happen honestly. Viola should have stayed low damage by sheer design. Buffing the damage was stupid.

that's what i was going off of. i hate her buffs and made her jump up the tier list.
 
22B, 6A+B=50dmg

FC3B, 6A+B=50dmg

6A+B is stupid <_< I prefer the wakeup options. Mang.

Ok fine you got me. I mean from her OTHER launcher combos that don't use 6A+B.

Or I'll just change the 50 I said to 55 so I automatically am in the right once more. Not sure which route I'm taking yet.

Sssshh! They'll hear you! That FC3B is still safe. We can't have that! 22_88k KNDs on CH. 66BB can CH combo into stuff! 3A+B combos with 6KK for OK damage and KND! We can't have any of that!
