Lost Swords

I've seen Ivy, Sophitia, and Taki allies with 1P costumes now and have yet to acquire a single piece of these costumes on my own. From what I could tell they were from Japanese PSN accounts?
Yes, they were most likely unlocked from the Beta.

I did everything I could in the beta and I didn't get anything of the sort, just an extra potion and a ticket.
As far as I know you could get 1P costumes in the Beta. Don't ask me how they did though, lol.

You spend it all so it gets to its lowest point, you wait until you can play a game again. Then its zero.....

I got Nightmare after about...18 tries today. XD
Underneath all that armor, he's just a buffer and more tan Raphael. o3o

I wish they would introduce more outfits into the system too.
I re-downloaded to see if there was any difference in events and the JP side also has the Nightmare and Knight of Light and Darkness premium items.
The only difference was the event for school girl outfits that ended some time ago? They had that in place of the Soul Edge Scramble thing.
I might keep the JP version to participate in the events, unless they decide to start them for the English versions too. XP

Another fun fact

Ivy's CS weapon art has invincibility during the first few frames. It can do shit like interrupt Pat's BB after blocking the first B.

Then, has anyone cleared Mission 5 under the missions tab? The mission is to use up all your AP but I know have already, so why haven't I unlocked it yet?

Playing lost souls has been a mixed bag for me.
Mostly playing to see what new cas bits they toss into the mix.
That draconion set looked pretty cool.
Its also cool to see stuff from sc4 show up in the mix.
I wonder if they will do a fan poll for a new character.
Kinda like tekken did.

I'm about on the same thought pattern.

For what it is, LS is okay. The gameplay is closer to an actual SC game and less restrictive, the assist character-thing is pretty cool, the Customization of costume pieces and weapons is a welcome addition, and the missions do keep you on your toes. You have to grind to expand your roster and a cap of 16 characters is pretty low, but I wasn't expecting much from FTP game anyway.

On the downside: the lack of multiplayer is a huge wtf factor, the AP system is a transparent cash-muncher waiting for an easy meal, still no SCV story retcon in sight, and problems like Error 2005 and so only serve to cement why I despise "required online" components in games.

So in short, it's a well-intentioned, but fundamentally flawed experiment that won't do any harm to the series or the players who decide to check it out. You can indulge in the game to tithe you over for a while or just skip it altogether and you wouldn't be wrong to do either.

I enjoy that game, it's a nice lil entertainment to make me wait for the next Soul Calibur game.
I couldn't find any equipment list on the web for the time being so I was wondering what were the best weapons for Sophitia and Ivy.

I did the swaggest wall combo with Ivy the other day

3B W! > 88B JF > 7B+K > then I did that weapon art with WR A+B and 6B8 BE > W! > 3B+K > stomp

Yeah I ran into the same problem.
Not alot of info or resources out for this game.
Weird.

Hearing alot of mixed feelings from this. I absolutely love this series (even enjoyed SoulCalibur Legends on the Wii) but i am still on the fence about this one. How does unlocking content work exactly? The more you win fights, the more you gain currency to unlock yeah? Or do you have to actually buy points or something? Also, how bad really is the loading? Game breaking bad you reckon?

When you first start what exactly is available from the outset? Do we have a handful of characters & customization available or is it just Siegfried sitting lonely on the character select screen in just his underpants? Not that lack of early content is a big issue for me as i love unlocking stuff regardless, but just curious.

The fighters that are available & or unlocked later, have their movelists been streamlined down like in Tekken Revolution? I want Astaroth in all his brutal glory. & finally, someone mentioned new customization items as well as items from SCIV. Is there any way of finding a complete list of all the customization items available in the game? Sorry about the 21 questions, i know i could have probably found all these answers in these pages but eighty plus pages is alot of pages to sift through & well i am feeling just abit lazy on the Sunday ;). I have read around a number of other sites but feel i will get more solid info here from SC fans. Cheers guys!
