Le Bello is receiving a lot of "Be a mod" support. I emailed Brewtus, so, here's hoping.

Scythe's belt is a lot less distracting now, and I see you're experimenting more with stickers, so excellent job!

I MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer the black and gold Astabot recolour. The better tones just make it fiercer.

I suggest you look out for my "CaS Tips and Tricks" thread to learn some interesting things, such as how to remove the metallic sheen off equipment, or even add the sheen to non-metallic items. As well as a whole host of other little wonders posted by the many wonderful posters. And maybe even add your own?

Oh, Le Bello knows that much. I meant that you're using more stickers, so it seemed as though you were playing around with them more, and maybe seeing their potential, assuming of course that you didn't already know the brilliance they can achieve. Is all. =|;}D

For the grey example, my intentions was not to make you put grey pants. But to show you certain shades of unmatching colors of what they could help with. I could of put tan on that lady CAS of mine, but that would kinda venture into the "matching too much" syndrome. The gray was just thrown out to break the syndrome and as a result, it happened to help haha.

You heard of the football team 49ers? Tan is usually the color they throw in for the pants. I can picture it helping it. Though tan is the usual cliche choice but it coordinates with bright red and gold. Just tone down the bright red and gold a bit to make it believe-able. You want peeps to look at your custom and feel

In fact, I used tan quite a bit. Green and gold compliments tan depending how it's pulled off.

Here's another example I made for this guy. He probably needs more tweakings imho once I get a better idea. But the tan pants help with fantasy looking chinese warrior.

Killer Crocaroth
I can't say this is exactly perfect but it definitely feels it. Much thanks to the genius Le Bello for suggesting the zipper pattern for the teeth. It was a chore to make his eyes. I actually used a pattern to create the pupils considering you can't sticker them. Odd right? EDIT: Added face shot, switched eyes from deformed spheres to bolts.

Kano
Kano came to me one day when I was playing Jin and I was like ".......O____O I'MMA FIRIN' MUH LAZOR!" So I decided to go with the laser man himself, Kano. Tried to go for his primary MK9 costume. Overall I'd have to say I'm pretty proud of it. Stickers, body shape... I think it's all pretty comprehensive. Hopefully one day Namco will make DJ an actual character. "Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou."

Brian Fury (Bryan? Too lazy to look up right now)
The pissed off cyborg. Mainly I say I'm very happy with this design. I had his Tekken 6 primary at first but decided to kind of muddle his alt and prim together thus creating this cute little concoction. Brian's my main in Tekken 6 so it only felt right. ^^

Armor Kingaroth
Yup, 'nother Tekken character. Personally one of my favorites. I pick this design often when I'm beating someone's ass. It's about as accurate as I feel I could get. Obviously used most if not all the King parts (I do have a Kingaroth, I just don't feel necessity to share him) and definitely tried to be as accurate with the colors as possible. His fucking tail doesn't change colors though... EDIT: Gave him a red eye. Bolts work wonders~

Astarock
I've been struggling with a good Rock design and this was about the best I could muster and I'm still not really happy. Any suggestions to make a good Rock out of this design would be appreciated.

All of these are pretty good, though I'm not a huge Batman/Mortal Kombat fan, so I couldn't give them the reviews they needed.

Your Brian is pretty good though, can't see anything wrong there. And your Armour King is one of the better ones I've seen. Though maybe make his skin a bit darker, a-la T6? Unless you did and the lighting in the CaS area is messing it up?

For Rock, he usually wears greys and browns, so maybe tone the tiger stripes down a bit, or add a bit more bone to his design? A strong tattoo would go wonders for that nativey berserker look too. All in all though it's pretty good, reminds me of a 3P style design.

Oh I know you can't change skin colours of the original characters, I just wasn't aware he was Astaroth.
And for the red eye, you can sink an apple, or a sphere into his eye.

Jamming a halo or apple or crescent into one of the eye sockets.

Editing Astaroth is one of the most fun characters to mess with in this game! I've made a few, but my most recent one has become my favorite to use online, if you wanna check it out.

You've got some cool edits, but it's hard to see any detail in them due to how you take pictures. If you take a pic of the main edit screen, you have to zoom way out to see the full character. Same goes for his default pose holding the axe--rotating a little bit and zooming in would help tons, right now we just get good views of his axe. Cropping and saving as .jpg would also help focus on the character, since the default PS3 screenshots are too large for photobucket and will get resized, unless you are paying for premium. Some detail shots would be nice too (such as Killer Croc's face--I want to see it!)
 
Understandable--I thought the exact same thing when I started uploading pics! But now I'm shooting myself in the foot for not thinking to do it sooner.

At the very least, it would be nice to see some closeups along with full shots :)

Akuma
Making him was a little harder considering the appropriate shirt is FUCKING FEMALE ONLY. ARGH. So I tried my best to give him a proper redress. I chose to use Akuma considering he's the most like Akuma with his projectiles, Shoryuken with appropriate command, and air moves.

Edward Elric
Well I won't say anything about his height for obvious reasons but I'll say overall it's a pretty neat design. Considering the game doesn't have a good pants & shoes combo, I went with blacked out chaps and the sleeveless unitard. I used 4 squares to represent his collar to give him that much more depth. Used a couple moons for bangs and the rest is history.

Dark Knightaroth
Remember the design I did for mister "Holy Knight?" Meet his opposite and original. This came as soon as I picked up these DLC pieces and I have been in love with the design since I used it. The colors (becuz im sew GOTH) is black, purple, and red with purple playing the big part. This is definitely a color scheme different from my usual blacks and reds so I love it but mostly it's the synergy of the design that I am in love with~

Akuma is very well executed! You're coming in leaps and bounds here Scyle!

Might I suggest trying Xiba's "Wildling Pants" on him? Assuming you can make the patterns the same colour as the cloth, it should give a better look, all tattered and such.

I think that's as standard an Ed as we'll ever get. There's nothing wrong with it at all. I do like the use of stickers to create the coller though - It's something I haven't seen done here.

I still have differences with your Knight designs. They just don't seem Knightly to me. I can see what you were going for, but I can't graps the image in my head.

Of course this isn't to say they're bad, by any means, just that I don't /get/ it. It's an interesting design, but I feel a cape, if possible, would benefit it roughly six-hundred times.

Red and Whitael
Red and white on Raphael. Why? Because I love them colors~ Hints of black too to accent the designs. ^^

Haunting Raphael
Call this one "Haunting" because his attire and facial features seemed PERFECT for the all black. I gave him a light blond hair to seem more realistic but overall I think the black on this outfit gives him a very menacing appearance.

Egyptianroth
Well he's another fairly stereotypical design. Lots of whites, golds, and some red. I chose the Azr Ss Trzaous undergarments because I feel a white palette swap of them complimented the rest of his gear. He has the whatever headgear and them scorpion leg thingies to make him seem as authentic as possible. Then of course, dat Egyptian axe.

Mr. Whiskers
"As a little boy little Paul Whiskers was an eccentric tike. Tables, roses, and lamposts were what excited him. After turning 15, his duck did a back flip and it caused him to go into a coma. He dreams about waffles and likes to put sparkly things on his mom's cupboard. Eventually he danced out of Paul and just wanted Mr. Whiskers. Red, white, and yellow have nothing to do with this story. This statement is a lie. Oh hey, look in the mirror. I see a platypus!

As soon as the cat gear was unlocked I couldn't help myself. This concept is probably over done but in all honesty this is seriously the most hilarious character I've ever made. His voice, his weapon, under his suit... Heh. I wanted flamboyant on this one. A character that gets countless "WTF's," Mr. Whiskers isn't all looks. He's the funniest to win a bout with because not only do you feel insulted by losing to... This but also because after every round comes a high pitched "Heh heh." Glowing blue halo, rainbow butterfly wings with strawberry webbing. It's just too funny. Bonus points: He's a hit with the ladies ;D

Mr. Whiskaroth
YES! ANOTHER CAT CHARACTER! Raph isn't my main so I had to decide to create an Asty version. Of course I went with a darker theme but then had to contradict it with rainbows. Rainbows~ His appearance is both hauntingly amusing and oddly threatening. Rainbow bowtie, rainbow unicorn horn, floating pink heart (Kinda like a Chao >:3) and of course what has been dubbed as "The Candy Axe." This one is doubly threatening simply because Nasty Asty is my main and everyone always seems perplexed by his axe. When you see this one come out it's mostly because I want to embarrass my opponent. Tends to work. Warning: Not safe in dark stages. Good luck seeing him <3

Pimparoth
Ain't nobody want to fuck with the Big Daddy na' sayin? Like you see Pimparoth on the block you better believe all the bitches be on his jock. True to the game he sports some iconic purple shit and all metal is fucking 10000 karat gold. Two different shades of 'dat purp wit' some red to highlight 'dat shit. You see 'dem shades? 'Dem shits is made from pure golden diamonds with purple diamond lenses. Big Daddy Asty don't fuck around.
