Mic Abuse And Other Annoying traits

Mics bother me a lot.

In the middle of a match months ago. Fought against this guy in GC who had a mic.

Match goes underway. It kinda went like this.

Guy: You spamming piece of shit. You're such a cheating whore and all that nonsense throughout the entire match...while my grandmother was in the room.

When I play I sometimes have family coming in and out of the living room. Some being little children and they don't need to hear that crap from a guy who takes himself and this game that seriously. From then on out I mute any guy who's not on my friend's list. Simple as that.

You were obviously doing something right, then!

Usually, whatever screaming or crappy music is coming through their mic is muffled enough that it doesn't do any harm on my end unless I have a mic connected myself, which I only do if I'm going into player match with people I know.
 
Once it's my turn I turn the chat volume low, but just enough so I can still hear any scrub complaints that come my way. It's beyond amusing hearing the standard scrub catchphrases of "spamming", "cheap", and "cheating". I've played enough online games to not give any fucks if I get kicked just because I'm playing the way I feel is fun.

I think thats the thing: obnoxious people don't realise that kids, and other members of ones family may be present. Let alone the fact that no one really wants to hear nonesense coming from complete strangers.

Ok, This one is kinda startling.

I was in Player Match a few weeks ago, gaming as one does, when the guy with the mic starts moaning and groaning....

If there's a muppet on a mic I pretty much make it my job too annoy them as much as possible. The more abusive they get he happier I become. I don't have a mic so I'm restricted to tbagging, taunts, grab spam and ringouts.

Me and a friend played with Silv about two days ago. My friend was using nighty against his sieg and silv was getting owned. SOOOOO he says "I don't like aggressive players calm your shiz or I will boot you." Then he mentioned something about combat and taking turns...... against my better judgement I asked him if he was had put the right disc in because unless I'm mistaken we were playing soulcalibur and that it was a FIGHTER not an RPG. Then he flipped out and said "Just wait until it's your turn I am going to destroy your ass." I beat him and left the room. I don't normally antagonize people but I was annoyed and he made it too easy.
