You should read my thread on "how I would have told it" I made suggested role changes for the cast and roster for such discussions like this. As said there, to me Talim should have been the one to get Soul Calibur from Sigfriend then because she can "sense" the purity/evil in people she should be the one to hunt down the malfested or at least assist Patroklos to turn him from "tool" to "cool"... or she should have been the one to help Pyrhha return to normal or something.... everything required for plot devices are already there in her character and she imho has the most uses to the plot points but PS doesn't use her.

Hell speaking of pyrrha, if she and Amy had such a similar childhood, wouldnt it make sense for them to be friends or something travelling together?

Well, based in the story mode of SCV and trying to see from a logical side:
Talim and Zasalamel: They were planned to be in the game at first, so they will be back for sure too. Zasalamel is inmortal and Talim is such a unique character.
Cassandra: Patroklos want to be with his family, so I smell a journey to Astral Chaos to find his aunt Cassandra.
Sophitia: They story told us that she is dead, it may be or not true, but I don't have hopes for her because she already have a replacement.
Taki: Same as for Sophitia, she have now a replacement, but due to the negative fan reaction for Natsu, PS may change her personality a bit so she will look more like Taki.(Or maybe increase their boobs?)
Xianghua: Same here, and I'm my opinion, Leixia is a better character than Xianghua, I sympathise more for the daughter than for her mother itself, I never liked her.
Amy: 99% Sure of Viola is her, but maybe if Amy fans demands her so much, maybe PS would add her as an extra.
Seong Mi-na: She would be to old and Xiba is something like a replacement for Kilik and her. Is very sad cuz I like Mi-na a lot, but I have 0 hopes for her to return since she never has been an important character.
Setsuka: If Patroklos is going to have his own style instead of Patsuka style, maybe she would return, of course she would have aged, and about this, don't know what you guys think about her design, but she always looked very mature to me, she can even have her SC4 design and would not look weird when aged.
Yun Seong: So many people want Hwang back, what if instead of Hwang(who would be 49 years old) we have a more mature and serious version of Yun with 35 years old? He will have almost the same age Hwang have in SC3. What do you guys think?
Rock: Odashima already say that he want Bangoo in the game, so here's come a replacement for him.(Rock would be to old, 59 if I'm not wrong)
Li Long and Arthur, is something that I want too, but their fanbase is very low, especially for Arthur xD

Talim: 32 isn't old since Ivy is so it would be interesting to see a mature Talim
Zasalemel: No age and unique style IDK for story
Cassandra: Hell yeah, I bet she didn't age in the Astral Chaos so it would be a bit awkward to see her niece and nephew almost the same age as her. Also I can see both of them looking up to Cassandra as a badass aunt.
Seong Mi-na: 40 isn't too old would like to see her a a mentor to Xiba or rival
Setsuka: she probably has other adoptive children that can replace her preferably a girl
Yun Seong: Hell yeah also have a better story other than protect my country

Someone need to translate this hold topic into japanise and send it as a hatemail to namco... Onestly, SC5, SC2HD, SCBD.... If namco kips heading this way with SC, I much rather for them to stop ruining such a unique series...
