Missing character discussion

They should bring back every character in SC6 even if their stories will be non canon. One of the biggest complaints about the game is that characters are missing and the new characters don't fill the void created by the missing ones. They should bring everyone back for one epic SC game with maximum sales due to happy fans ^___^.
Says who? Facebook?

I want to agree, but I have seen people quit over the loss of Zasalamel here. Perhaps anyone who'd quit the game based on that isn't much of a loss to the community, but it's still a lost player.
Meanwhile where are the Talim fans? Most of them maining other characters.

I friend of mine doesn't play SCV because both his mains (Talim and Amy) aren't in it, killing my chance to have someone to play offline, that's the main reason I want Talim back in, because I might, just might, have someone to play offline if they put her back in.

So some people do quit over it (but still the minority).

If it wasn't for Zwei, I would have quit lol. I don't enjoy using any other characters and one certain char who did return was supposed to be my main for this game but.... just no. (Raph, go melt in the sunlight.)

They're probably going to have Siegfried and Patroklos stick around forever from contact with Soul Calibur, like how Soul Edge did with Cervantes, Ivy, and Tira.

Whaddaya think they'll call it? Benefested?

Well if Talim were to actually die in the story mode of SC6 that would be sort of awesome even though I main Talim. It would be cool for me if she was still playable in SC6. :P Crazy as this sounds.

Mostly on its reviews.
Name three reviews from major video game websites and magazines that actually label the missing roster as a con.

Well, in Patroklo's case, he is also a malfested.

Just where did you read that from?
I didn't read anything it's just a disgussion in the game group, how do I know about the disgussion? I'm also a worker now in Namco, and my part is to make propaganda for new games, so a lot of times I need to join different new game disgussion. That's where I got the information, but again it's not the final dicition yet, so don't worry.

And we should believe you because....?

What discussion group? That could be anywhere. You work for Namco, too? I doubt that you are, so...

Well rather you believe it or not it's your choice, it's actually not hard for me to get a job in Namco because I've actually been working at different video game companies and anime companies ( mostly anime ) designing programs and also a little graphic designes, I do work for Namco now but only writing programs for different games ( not only Soul Calibur ) if you ask why would I come and work for Namco, because I've known a lot of graphic designers in Namco ( and also other companies ) most of them are my coworkers in when we are working in GONZO, they recomanded me to the company to become part of a graphicdesinger in the company, but actually only for one and a half year, after that I'm going back to Blizzard... Or XEBEC... If they still want me....

....Okay then, I believe you.

Well, Destiny-Zero if I were to make a story to pitch for Talim for the next installment. It makes it a little difficult because I do not know the plot per say but here it goes.

I would start by going with the typical story that it is the story of two swords, eternally retold as always. Where is it different? The swords of Soul Calibur and sword edge are broken up into different fragments where every fighter in the series ends up coming upon a fragment. They all end up using the fragments in different ways to enhance their fighting prowess and end up fighting each other over fragments of the swords to complete the final sword and do something with them. The individual fragments that enhance fighting power would be directly involved with some sort of combat mechanic. I'll think more on that later, but Talim's fragments would be inside of the wind that guides her.

Instead of going for the typical endings of making the swords complete and then doing something though I would like to see different endings of some people actually combining the two swords into one sword, maybe deciding to keep the sword as fragments and other types of endings. All of this is more of a vague idea of what I would like to see.

In Talim's case she would be going around to collect fragments of both swords and having the spirit of the wind that guides her to "Purify" each one. Except when it is purifying each piece the wind is infact slowly corrupted and begins to guide Talim poorly. She follows blindly at first but eventually realizes what is going on and has to confront the wind that guided her and empowered her as the last priestess, but also as a strong willed human girl as she is now relatively powerless without the winds guidance. Key boss battle.

After winning, the of course non canon ending would be. While she has lost the guidance of the wind she now follows her own will. Talim wanders the world and finds the people who she hurt to obtain the shards and makes friends, even unlikely friends whom she had once harmed.

The cop out for the next story where she may return? After a time the wind calmed down and returned to it's normal, uncorrupted state. She could choose to listen to it or not, however it would now serve as merely a guidepost to her new, more confident self.

Anyway these are just my ideas from a fan.
