2nd entry: I thought I had lucked out with so many open slots on this one....but the surcoat conflicts with so many things, and clips horribly with so many more.........it worked out about the same.......

This was cool itself, even without the random rule restrictions
Create a connection between beard and the fur on legs is really a good idea

well... I tried to disguise this horrible helmet in a ninja mask... I think it works
but that stupid monocle it was very out of context for a ninja... I know
the random hair was another long hair, I changed for this just to appear better the helmet in the photo, since the other covered many helmet

That's actually one of the most badass ninjas I've seen made with CaS. Good job.

I was going to think the same, it kick ass most ninja CAS I've seen. That claw is perfect and actually looks like a ninja claw. We got really good stuff.

I'm not too sure about this design. I don't think it deserves a win, but I didn't like the idea of missing out on another round.
When I first saw the results of the random part choices, I thought I was SOL. Every part slot except the three special equipment slots was occupied, so the core wasn't very customizable (the hand slot is occupied by the Studded Bracelets and the neck slot by the Ribbon. However, I decided I'd play with the cards I was dealt and see what I could do.
- With the help of a Cone and a samurai helmet ornament, I was able to turn the Chinese Hat and Muzzle into a samurai helment. Patterning the Chinese Hat and setting all colors to something neutral eliminates the tinted glare.
- Since there's an octopus on his armor, I thought I'd expand that into an oceanic motif. Thus, lots of blue, stickers, and patterns relating to the sea and sea life were used.
- The 100% historically accurate and totally legit clan crest on the Pareo consists of a black circle, snowflake, and vine wreath stickers.

As soon as I saw it the first thing that popped in my head was "Power Rangers". And that's what he is: A Japanese Toku hero.
I like how it turned out, gives me some ideas... Although I really hate those boots.

Personaly I think this was a great success, characters submitted were awesome even if we didn't consider the rules. If we consider the rules they are a indeed a true feat.

Quinion's troll win. As said aside few things where he can work on, that one is very good even outside the contest of the random challenge.
Norik's last minute entry is a close second tbh, very cool too (actually one of Norik's best cas) and great eye to see it starting from a random base.

Gotta be rdmunhoz.......took a bad base and turned it into a good ninja CAS, mostly with just colors/patterns. Special honorable mention goes to ThePascuzzi who was dealt the worst hand of all....... still turned it into something semi-decent..........definitely respect the effort; Good work Pas, but the better final product wins out.

This was an awesome challenge, lots of fun to see what people came up with.
It's very hard to choose one character in particular, all of these entries were very clever. My vote's gonna go to rdmunhoz's ninja, I like how he went beyond simply coloring items and created a claw with special items. And considering how hard it is to pull off that vest on a guy, I'd say he nailed this contest.
Quinion and Pas were very close to getting my vote, but ninjas are one of my soft spots :3

Oh definitely. A mixture of different cultures (European breastplate and Asian gauntlets) and that stupid Valkyrie Fauld that clashes with almost everything? Painful.
It's a real show of artistry overcoming adversity.
