Hey guys and girls! I'm new to the forum, obviously. I have always loved the Soul series, but I really got into it when Soul Calibur II came out. Tira is my favorite character, but I love playing as Xianghua, Amy and occasionally Talim. I'm super excited about SCV and am literally counting down the days.

Fighting games are my favorite type of genre. I don't discriminate among different titles, I love (most of) them, including Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Blazblue, Guilty Gear and King of Fighters. Years ago I was even a moderator on a Dead or Alive forum.

I enjoy most things nerdy and hope to one day go to comic-con, cosplaying in the most accurate costumes ever made...if I can ever afford it! :)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being here!
 
welcome to the 8wayrun family you can officially call yourself an 8wayrunner anyway i KNOW you don't play with nightmare but if you get ever feel the ergeee to play with him the nightmare community of 8wayrun would be glad to help you :D

Welcome to the community. It's a very good place to be to speak with other soul calibur fans as well as play a few matches online. Ironic that you used to be a moderator for another fighting game site though lol
 
Pocky Yoshi says hello and is pleased to meet you. I'm not a fan of kimchi for my own reasons. But I'd like to say it's because of my mother who whips that out. It smells lol. Aside from that, I like the fact you're a fighting game nut or so.

Hah, you should fit right in around here then, right lot of nerds we are :D. I'm sure there are half a dozen people itching to recommend you an anime as I speak. Cool shades btw. Yes, I am quite excited for DOA5 as well. I'm glad to see the series continuing on, even without Itagaki. I also am open to trying virtually any anime people may throw my way :)

maybe you can list some good anime so far, because I'm only really into Mawaru Penguindrum right now. And even that is making less sense to me (I still really like it though)​

WOW Same four characters I like but in a Different order... Xianghua first, then amy, Talim (Mained her back in the day), and Tira (liked the her for a bit but never took the time to learn her before)
