NorCal Regionals 10 Stream Schedule

The other major tournament this weekend, NorCal Regionals 10, also has their stream schedule available to check out. According to the schedule, Soulcalibur V is scheduled on stream beginning at 11AM Pacific on Saturday, March 24th, with top 8 streamed on Sunday, March 25th beginning at 10AM Pacific.

NorCal Regionals will also have two streams running this weekend. Both streams, tournament brackets, and schedule of events can be found after the break. And don't forget to visit the chatroom to talk about the events as they happen.

The patch is nuts. The game plays 100% differently. Krayzie got snakebit by that, and I came uncomfortably close. Labbing it tonight with fingers crossed!

When is Top 8 gonna start? Here we are at 11:30 Pacific and both streams are still blank.

I'm expecting lots of balls at this one.

I don't get why so many people seriously think there's gonna be a Viola bandwagon. The patch buffed her but didn't really change her at the core. Whatever reasons you all passed her up in the first place, still exist in Ver1.02. She's still a lot of work for not as much reward as other chars.

Also, SHE STILL HAS ORB GLITCHES. SET 44A BE randomly failing to summon the orb is a HUGE killer, and is just the beginning of why she's STILL not tournament viable yet.

 

The patch did change her substantially as one of the huge turn offs for many players was her damage and that is now, by far, not the case.

Her BnB 3B combo is now ~80 without using any of her bar, and you can't backdash out of her mixups without a huge risk due to the system change.

However, let's not get into a character quarrels now, this is a tourney thread.

As for a Viola bandwagon, I think with the buffs she received in this recent patch and the nerfs that other characters received, more people will start exploring this character.
