There are waterfalls?? WTF. I didnt see them! My fav. stage too then xDD

You cant see the waterfall in this one but you can see the reflection of the water on the tree roots below the archers. Archers damnit!!! Oh and of course the ponies prancing by the wall.

I see what you mean. I love nature filled stages like these.. The horses running in the background remind me of the Hall of the Warrior god in sc4, one of my favorite stages.. :3
 
Yeah but if that happened the quality of online gaming would be even worse. Only so much information can be tugged by a photon at a time. The more "heavy" the load the longer it takes to get it. I for one am willing to sacrifice the crowds for better game play.
Of course, yes. That was just a rant O.o Hilde's forest stage had some people in the background so that's pretty cool :)
 
LOVING the new stages!! Thank god for actual, real world looking locations and not giant, magma-encrusted towers of crap.

I'm pretty sure the new town square stage is in Germany - or rather the Holy Roman Empire at the time (which is why I guess it is refered to as "Roma") It looks really reminiscent of Koblenz or Koln in Germany, complete with "pepper pot" spires on the buildings:

I loved the forest stage. My favorite so far

EDIT: Noticed this yesterday but what's up with the archers?! Are they shooting HRD because Maxi's back? I don't get it. =P
 
The stages so far have all been very impressive, a huge improvement over SCIV.

The forest stage is very reminiscent of Robin Hood to me, especially because of those green archers.
 
that is cool. It has always been my dream to have a stage with moving lava and traps. :)
Don't forget the online lag that will bring.

Do traps actually make lag? Surely in programming terms its just a flag, 1 or 0, active or inactive. Should'nt mess with connection.

I beg your pardon, sorry, I was talking about the Lava. The water in the IV stage was bad enough.

Yeah he was talking about lava...moving ever changing lava with some occasional random fireballs sputtering out of it would bring lag...sadly.

Naw I was silly I did'nt realise you were talking in game slow down as opposed to actual online lag.

Torture chamber looks bitchin with the walls down.
 
A. I would like to see a stage, where if you get ringed out, you land in a diffrent arena of the stage and you fight there.

B. It would be nice to see things in the middle of some stages where you can knock characters into them and the item breaks or shatters.

C. Bring back the stages that had special effects and make them online for people to fight on. Stages like:

1. A stage with Earthquakes that triggers a tremor on the ground every 3 seconds. Stages can be found on SC2 and SC3

2. A stage with Icy grounds where both players are sliding. Stages can be found in SC2 and SC3 verses mode

3. A stage that increases mega wind pushback force when getting knocked into the air. Stage can be found in Chronicles of the sword mode in SC3

4. A stage where Characters get knocked into cage walls and if they get hit by a lift attack, they go flying all over the cage taking damage from each wall they hit. Stages can be found in SC2 and SC3

5. A stage with Land mines on the ground and every time someone gets knocked into the ground the mines blow up and send them air born. Stage can be found in SC2 in weapon master mode

6. A stage with sand, where Characters fight in sand and the deeper they sink, the slower their actions, but attacking overtime gets them back up above the sand little by little. Stage can be found in SC2 weapon master mode

7. A stage with fire or burning lava surrounding the ring and every time a player steps in the lava or gets knocked into the lava, he or she takes heavy fire damage. Stage can be found in SC2 weapon master mode

8. Or the hot potatoe stage where, a player starts off with a bomb attached to him or her with the timer on the bomb going down gradually, but landing a succesful hit on the opponent will give the opponent the bomb, however the more the bomb is handed back forth between both players, the quicker the timer on the bomb goes down. When timer on the bomb runs out, the bomb will explode on the character holding the bomb, and the character takes severe damage from the explosion. Stage can be found in SC3 verses mode.
