I don't think that one works, but 6B4~6 prep BK should. It's tight, but it is NC.

Yeah, that one only works if you can get B+K to hit. Makes B+K a hell of a move though if the opponent is using a move with a noticeable gap!

PS, I've had very little issue punching through people's RE attempts by brute-forcing rapid B attacks out of prep.

Wich option to use against Xiangha 2a as answer to a prep on block (lets consider 44AB as starter that should be the best on block). 4 gets hit afaik ?

This one is off his BBB, but the idea is the same.
Tested both by playing against X as Raph and setting her to Guard All and then 2A as well as by playing against Raph as X and trying to 2A his recorded setups. Results:
After 66[B+K] (actual best frames on block) prep A counterhits 2A. Hell, prep 6B counterhits 2A. You can do basically anything here.
After 6BB and 44AB, prep 4 GIs 2A.
After 3B and 4B, prep 4 evades 2A without GI-ing it.
After 66B, 2A hits.

Why are people using fucking training mode combos to say Raphael is good?
Try doing that in a match. Your throw will be broken, your follow up will be step-countered. When you enter Prep, you will be tech-crouched and stunned., if not stepped at punished. Raphael is bad in this game. His options absolutely suck compared to any other character in the game. He has no quick lows that knockdown (AG K doesn't count, it's not fast enough, even out of prep and anyone who is instinctively stepping you on AG will step the move anyway, and your horizontal option is poor range, damage and no stun).
Stop struggling, it's okay. He's bad. That's what we signed up for as Raphael players.

I can tell you this:
Raph is boring now no doubt but QuickStepG is gone for good and seems stepG needs too many frames to block left tracking options.
The question in this case was how to use 6B46BK that should be a natural combo… and seems part of the combo is that but still didn t understand i'll check better.
Playing with an i10 counter means you don't actually care about step… just poke and punish (old raph style but with different tools) consider this:
In SCV some Genius at namco decided an i11 high vertical on a low tier for 10 damage needed a nerf (and nerfed again following patch).
In SCVI they changed it to a comboable 36 damage for i10 if true.
Consider 33B does huge damage catches step and its KD on CH (if i remember well) and without QstepG bug (unless its still there hidden somehow) you have proper antistep tools 4K, 2A and possibly 22A (need to test).
Another old raph tool are mixups after lows (SCV raph was USELESS after the patch no doubt on this…few people knew the quickstepG bug but rendered ANY raph options useless).
We still have some but need more tests
examples:
1K 22K or 6K
or Again 1K and any aGI
Speaking of KD lows you have situational 4B+K, A that is hard to read if opponent doesn t attack. during th aGI window (dunno if its steppable left unfortunately i guess so in that case you have 4 mixups but speed need testing)
while 44B is a worse supernerfed version of raph signature 44B from SCIV, still TC and despite not so strong its still slightly usable
For punishers after successful step i am still clueless. 46B or K is extremely difficult to think and risky if you miss the input.
And RE is still a problem to deal with but ANY low damage character is on the same boat so either expect a solution or a nerf.
Said this since Raph its no more raph…. and that alone is a guilt by namco (not less than changing Taki to Natsu) but now you simply poke punish and mixup
1) you sure? didn t work to me.
2) training says: aGI low VERTICALS, 2a is a special low horizontal. is it wrong? in that case i'd need to check how much does it takes the window to start.

I dunno, I didn't make the video. I just linked it. It shows Raph doing the Arriere Gambit cancel, which the other guy was asking about.
No wonder you're miserable if you always assume your opponent will perfectly counter everything that you do.
I like 46B a lot (usually when you step something, it's a vertical), but 22BB, step into 3B or step into 66B+K should all be fine.

2) It doesn't say that for me. Which language are you playing the game in? Could be a translation error.

No one has explicitly said Raphael is good.
It is way to early to make any judgment calls. The game has just come out and we have not done enough research to determine how good or bad Raph is. I don't think it's fair for you to claim Raph is bad and to force your opinion on others.
Most of us are not here to confirm Raph sucks. This the Raph SA, where people want to have discussions to help bring out the full potential of the character. We have not dug beneath the surface enough at all or analyzed matchups in detail to reach conclusions about Raph's viability.

Yeah I honestly think Raph is pretty good this time around, even if just for 6B46BK. That shit is absolutely nuts as a punish. Feels like I'm playing SCIV Setsuka, except I won't literally eat my whole health bar if they block my punish.
Prep actually works now as a tool, though. You have options for any kind of response in it, and if you guess correctly, you can get a lot of damage out of it. Way better than every previous version of step where there were catch-all answers.

Prep IS good now, but at the cost of his kit in other places. I've gone into explicit details as to why I think he's weak in the current game amd no one is listening. For the record, I do very well with Raph (currently no. 5 Raph on steam), I'm quite in tune with him.

I have no opinion (nor do I really care about) Raph's current tier placing or badness, I just think saying things like "Lol step left and Raph is dead" is demonstrably false and hurts actual discussion.
