I think Mage is right they've been doing this sort of thing ever since Soul Calibur 2. Here's an example.

On the Playstation 2 version you get Heihachi from the Tekken series of fighting games.

On the Xbox version you get Spawn from the comic book of the same name and remember this is a talk about other super heroes being guest characters besides him. We should also talk about Sailor Jupiter she is America's favorite Sailor Scout.

Last but not least on the GameCube you get Link from The Legend of Zelda series of RPGs.

I get what you are saying but as far as guests go, I'd just like to see characters that can actually fit in the game. This is why I think Ezio was a very good guest. He blended right into the cast fairly well I think. I'll say that same for Link *for the fantasy portion of SC* & Heihachi to a small extent.

Guest characters are used to try and promote the game more, like in Soulcalibur IV we had Darth Vader, The Apprentice and Yoda who were used to try and attract some fans of Star Wars.

Ezio or Kratos was example of a guest that jump in SC, drag some fans into and don't ruin it for everybody else

Fucking SW spaceship stage (and intros and covers with jedis everywhere) was the lowest point ever touched by SC

I wouldn't mind Wonder Woman. I mean storyline-wise she is Kitana. So entirely possible she is alive at this point in time. And she uses teh weapons. Short Sword, Shield and lasso.

I don't really like the idea of super heroes in SC. Like other people said they wouldn't really fit all that well plus we have creation. I personally think Ezio was the best guest character so far as in fitting in well with the cast, and I hope they take a route like that instead of just picking a popular character to add to the series for the sake of trying to bring in that fan base. Also, if you want to play as a superhero, Injustice just came out and it's a pretty decent game and is full of them xD

I'd probably say Green Arrow or Wonder Woman. Green Arrow uses a Bow and Arrows. He might fit in the game perfectly fine (thought his different types of arrows may not blend in with the old setting). Wonder Woman would fit in completely fine as well. Her weapons would blend in completely fine with the rest of the cast.

I personally prefer characters who fit in. Ezio was by far the best of the guests though I did thoroughly enjoy Spawn.
Now as for guests: I would like to see the Dragonborn from skyrim simply because the shouts would be a unique mix to the playstyle. Really.

I do think Vega would be the best addition from SF simply because he doesn't look modern and would be a fine contrast to Raphael. Also its pretty clear that his claw would be a very deadly tool.
But then again, with Tekken x SF coming along: it would give us a taste of what Vega could be like.
P.S. I am a Vega fanboy ;)

Vega looks like the only one who would be a decent guest character. Zappa's weapon looks like an extra weapon Siegfried would use.
