P90X results: This stuff really works

Well, they use stability balls in pretty much in every video. The ball is kinda big, so you need to have a lot of space to work out with these. I think you can replace it with something else but it's not gonna be exactly the same result.
  • X2 Core
  • Plyocide
  • X2 Recovery + mobility
  • X2 Total body and Ab ripper
  • X2 Yoga
  • X2 Balance and Power
  • X2 Chest + Back + Balance
  • X2 Shoulders and Arms
  • X2 Base and Back
  • X2 PAP lower
  • X2 PAP upper
  • X2 Ab Ripper
  • V sculpt + Ab Ripper
  • V sculpt
  • X2 Chest + Shoulder + Tris+ Ab Ripper
The videos look very intense. Right now I think P90X2 is designed for people who already achieved a lot with P90X and now want to push themselves beyond their limits and get better performance/balance/mobility/whatever.

edit: I just did Shoulders and arms. It's essentially one phase of exercises repeated 3 times, but very fun.

Have u looked at Insanity? My friend was telling me about it. But I don't think I'll ever leave p90x lol
I told you about Insanity many times in this very thread, don't you remember? ;)

It's completely overwhelming at first. I did it for couple months, 3 times a week (I replaced P90X cardio exercises with Insanity) and then every day for a few weeks (after my surgeon suggested I should lose a few lbs before my surgery). As much as I love cardio workouts this one is tough to love, it's basically the most intense workout I ever tried. But the feeling you get after completing the workout is worth it.

If you are only looking for a quick fat loss this is the best choice. P90X is better for everything else, that's why I think it's best to mix these two as P90X's cardio workouts are kinda pathetic ... I switched plyo, cardio x and yoga with Insanity.

Glad u replied, cause after going to the doctor for a physical, they weighed me and I am TERRIBLE right now. Basically ballooned up to 217. Soon I'll b the butterball I left behind *shudders* I'm quitting drinking and dropping some things off my food. Hopefully bread and rice are one of them but its hard finding a fixed intake of carbs, protein, fats, etc. since its different per person =/ but since drinking is main thing, quitting that for a while should definitely help. I'm looking forward to the next two months XD

I know this thread is about p90x, but I'll just give an up to date status of my weight loss which I posted somewhere.

I started my weight loss at 220 pounds about 2 years ago. I am 159 pounds now. This may sound pretty light, but I'm only 5'7.5.. my goal is still to get to 140 pounds, and to get some abs. I like having a thin, but toned build.

I'm glad to see people are still motivated to lose weight. Being big for me was just not comfortable at all. I hope you all succeed as well. (^_^)

I did P90X back in the day and i did get results but I was also going to the gym from the get go. Right now I been doing my gym routine hardcore everyday with my zumba classes and with my zumba certification around the corner Ill be teaching it soon. I have gotten results with P90X but you have to stick with it because if you dont man... you will fall off. Good stuff Shogun keep at it while im here doing the gym and zumba @_@x

PS: I didnt read ALL the pages but if it hasnt been posted dont forget to diet. You can do P90 but if your still eating crap then guess what... you wont gain no results so learn to balance the workouts with a good diet. Then have that ONE day to cheat and build up carbs so you can work it off in your routine.
