P90X results: This stuff really works

Hey dogs.

Gotta let you know that if you lose a bunch of fat you still look kinda weird without your shirt on unless you get surgery. It also makes the last few pounds of excess incredibly hard to get off since your body does not shed fat cells and will keep all the fat cells you've gained around.

Good job y'all. I hope you don't need no skin flap removal shit.

Start this shit before you eat them cupcakes.

As far as workouts go, there is no substitute for high impact training. Do incline push ups and half or negative (jump up to the contracted position and ease yourself down) pull ups as opposed to resistance bands or knee push ups.

Really P90X is just a stupid gimmick, but as long as it gets people exercising it's cool. Lord knows that people need incessant structure and hand holding to get anything done, and P90X just reaffirms that.

GOOD JOB SUCKAS

I didn't get surgery, so I guess this makes me wierd. This is my most recent shirtless pic online, i'll post another when I get a chance. Age also matters with weight so just becasue you big and lose alot of weight doesn't always mean you will have a stomach flap and need surgery.

I really don't see how it's a gimmick, it worked wonders for me, and others too. I said before and I guess i'll say it again. If giving you motivation, workout routines, and the idea distilled into your head that you can get in the best shape in your life from this routine and it works, then it has me sold! I'm living proof that this is not a gimmick routine that if you follow you will get results.

Sorry I been away so long but I haven't had any form of pc to log onto. So i'll answer as many questions as possible.

This is a small meal I eat frequently (the heart bowl is just me bein silly lol). It is composed of 8 oz. Baked Talpia with 1 1/2 cup of peas and carrots in chicken broth. Important nutritional facts about it:

Calories: 330
Fat: 5 grams
Sodium: 500mg
protein: 44g
carbs: 37g

The cup beside it is for the days i'm feeling alittle naughty and I'll have a cup of rainbow sherbet. I will not eat this until about 30-40 minutes prior to when I've had my small meal. Hope this helps you guys.

OK guys, started the program with shoulders and arms yesterday and boy did it kill me... I even had to skip 15 minutes or so just to make it through this program. But i am willing to keep it up as good as i can.

I will do mostly for the start all programs which include arms, shoulders, back, chest and biceps.

That´s about 4-5 DVD´s.

AB ripper X should come soon too.

I have no real diet plans so far, was never good in that.

But i will concentrate on this food especially:

Lean meat, eggs, low fat milk and cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, flax seeds, wholegrain bread and pasta, dried fruit, soy nuts, protein bars, mustard, salsa, fat free salad dressing.

And i heard that core synergestics are important too since i want to skip yoga... Hell, i shall see.

More blood and sweat to come!!

omg shogun...baked tilapia with peas and carrots.

fucking yuck.

i'd rather have congestive heart failure at 35 than try and survive off of peas and cardboard fish.

shout outs to discipline.

Lol, it's not as bad when you get use to it lobo I promise. You eat it for awhile and things you normally thought where tasty are horrible. For instance, like sodas. I can stand the taste of soda no more, it just does nothin for me. I will drink juice and tea all day, but soda.....blah.

Fish and veggies is a real good lean combo to have, since it naturally has more creatine than other meats and the complex carbs that are in veggies with the combination of low calories. If you can handle the taste (which isn't too bad to me) then you are good.

Haha i'm doing it right now along with obligatory 10 mile bike rides 4 days a week!
Wish me luck, guys!

Damn 10 miles lol I used to love bike riding too, ever since i started getting into p90x tho ive completely forgotten about it.

Im back on the grind, for real this time. Complete with yoga and everything. My eating habits are still meh, but lately ive been so drained from the actual workouts ive been neglecting Ab Ripper X entirely. I feel horrible =(

Day 4 btw. I havent weighed myself in ages =/

I always did Ab Ripper X in the evening, and the standard workout in the morning. It's only 15min (of hell) but if you can't do it immediately post workout you can always wait with it for a few hours. Nothing wrong with that.

That doesnt sound like a bad idea actually.
Although, after I come from work, my caffeine pills wear me out, so I jus wanna come home and sleep. But my mat is always out, so I think ima give that a try. And do it every other day.
Thanx alot homie.

PS - Also, is it bad that I'm mixing the workouts? I know I've been on and off, but I've been doing the first 6 workouts (excluding Stretch X) for awhile now and decided to change today with Core Synergistics X. God, almost reminded me of Plyo -_- Tough shit.

I think they designed p90x program specifically to avoid the plateau effect, but unless you hit one you shouldn't worry about that. I did the same thing, even switched P90X cardio workouts with Insanity workouts (they are super intense, Plyo doesn't even compare), mainly because it was just boring after a while.

If you are doing p90x with weight loss in mind, it doesn't really matter which exercise you choose, as long as you stick to your diet and work out to put your body in a caloric deficit, you will lose fat.

Thanx alot for ur help. Definitely aiming to keep my calories under 1200.
Gonna start counting from now on actually. Its just hard to keep track of things like carbs, fat, and protein as well. I guess i should study and apply more since i downloaded both of the guides.
And word? Insanity is dumb like that? lol. I can't stand plyo (but love it at the same time, cause i ACHE in the morning haha.) Yeah, i prolly wont be trying Insanity anytime soon lol.

Insanity almost made me cry once, lol. I still love it, though. It's mostly extremely intense cardio, and I love cardio workouts. I'm better at them than weights to be honest.

I got a cheap electronic food scale and it has helped me immensely with tracking my calories and whatnot. Once you learn how many calories/carbs/protein/fat are in 100 grams (3,5 ounces) of specific food everything becomes much easier.

Revival!

Sorry I haven't been posting to much of anything on this site, but i've been extremely busy with work and moving up to a supervisor position so my computer life has been cut short for the time being. But to update everyone, yes I am still on p90x and yes it is still giving me amazing results. As of now, I have been cutting back up as I have reduced myself to a desired weight to really build up. I might lose 5 pounds give or take (I very from 218-222) but from what i've seen this is a really nice and desireable weight to clean cut back up....and yes, you can do that with this program! Don't believe me, this is an update on mi bicep:

My definition is just.....FRIGGIN EVERYWHERE! People who haven't seen me since May are still as shocked and amazing at my muscle growth. Man....what can't this program do, you can modify it to ANYTHING! I will, however, be movin to p90x2 when I get my finances straight (buying a new vehicle also as we speak) but what has been goin on so far it looks like I can maintain for awihle without the need of it. I hope you guys have been continuing to stick with reaching your goals. Bring it! X

I have briefly looked through P90X2 videos... it looks like they are quite different than P90X. First of all, it seems that a lot of exercises require stability ball or bands. Many exercises involve yoga (meh) elements. In addition to Ab ripper X, there's also V sculpt.

I already hate the videos with "Balance" in their title, lol.
