PAD PLAYERS: HOW TO STREAMLINE YOUR CONFIGURATION FOR SC6

IF YOU HAVE ALWAYS PLAYED SOULCALIBUR ON A PAD SUCH AS DUALSHOCK, THEN THIS MESSAGE MAY INTEREST YOU. THE CONTROLLER CONFIGURATION IN SC6 IS NOW FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS GAMES (I.E. NO LONGER BEING ABLE TO MAP G OR K TO MULTIPLE BUTTONS), SO I HAVE DECIDED TO STREAMLINE MY BUTTON LAYOUT TO ALLOW FOR A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO ANY SOULCALIBUR GAME. THE REASON I AM DOING THIS IS TO AVOID HAVING MY MUSCLE MEMORY INPUT THE WRONG COMMANDS WHEN I PLAY DIFFERENT SOULCALIBUR GAMES. HAVE FUN MAKING ANY CHANGES YOU SEE FIT.

SC6:
SQUARE = A
TRIANGLE = B
X = G
CIRCLE = A+B
R1 = K
R2 = A+G (THROW)
L1 = K+G (TAUNT)
L2 = B+G (REVERSAL EDGE)

SC2:
SQUARE = A
TRIANGLE = B
X = G
CIRCLE = A+B
R1 = K
R2 = B+G (B THROW)
L1 = A+B+K (SOUL CHARGE)
L2 = (OPTIONAL)

EXPLANATION: WITH A, B, K MAPPED TO SQUARE, TRIANGLE, R1, THE IDEA IS TO HAVE THE ATTACK BUTTONS LINED UP IN SPIRIT OF HOW SOULCALIBUR ARCADE MACHINES HAD THEM. THIS MEANS ALL THE ATTACK BUTTONS SHOULD BE INSTANTLY ACCESSIBLE, WHILE ALSO ALLOWING FOR OTHER BUTTONS ON THE PAD TO BE USED AS BINDS FOR AWKWARD INPUTS OR BINDS TO AVOID EXECUTION ERROR.

Whats's stopping them from patching and allowing players to play with a button layout they actually want ?
The new configuration limit of maximum 1 button per input is pretty baffling.

Square - A
Triangle - B
Cross - G
Circle - K
L1 - A+G
L2 - A+B
R1 - RE (forgot the input)
R2 - A+B+K
