I've been working on a Titanic animation for some time, but it's taking me a long time to get the detail required and I can't seem to get it the way I want. It looks more like a painting, and I was targetting a realistic look...
Below is a screenshot of the actual animation. About 70 elements done in different programs were composed into this one scene in After Effects, using a 3D projection. The ship was done/textured in Photoshop (it's not a 3D model), the people on the ship and in the water were done in flash, the smoke is real and was composed into the scene. The water was done in After effects.
If I ever finish it, I will post it here if anyone is interested.
