Oh good, the one thing I need to finish my SCIV-style Setsuka CAS in SCV is a DLC coming up in 10 days. I peeked at the rest of the equipment, disappointed by how little there is... SCIV seems to have had a lot more equipment, and a lot more detailed equipment, no? Not to mention better-fitting equipment. The SCV CAS mode is way more functional, but kind of lacking in content (okay this isn’t really true, but maybe I’m just missing a lot of my fave SCIV CAS pieces). Still better overall, especially with patterns dramatically increasing customizability, but... sigh.

Game definitely seems to have been rushed. :-/

I pretty much disagree with all of that. SCV's character creation far succeeds SCIV's in quality, quantity, and functionality. Even what was used in SCIV looks better detailed here (the leather gloves look like crap in SCIV, but actually look like they're made of leather in SCV). If an equipment doesn't look appealing to you, you can find ways to change it in SCV and make it fit within your taste (colors, patterns, stickers, size adjustments). Character builds are actually what cause some equipment to look weird and bulky, but even so there's almost always an alternative to make the character look good. Also, you can't really say there's not as much of equipment when you haven't gotten 100% of everything. The percentage goes up slowly, but it still gives you more than a handful of new pieces with each percent.

As I said, SCV CAS is still better than SCIV CAS overall precisely because of that great level of customization. I’m not disagreeing with that. And FYI, I’m level 50, so it turns out I’ve seen most of the gear already, and as I wrote, I peeked and looked at what remained. The only thing is that we don’t yet know if the DLC packs have a substantial amount of stuff.

Of course, I’m speaking off the cuff here, I haven’t gone and counted all the hats, gloves, belts, etc. I wouldn’t actually be surprised if there is in fact a higher quantity of items in SCV, and I would gladly take back that statement. It just seemed to me as if there are a lot more clothes (which are welcome) but not as many interesting / usable armor pieces, maybe that’s skewing my perception. That or the way I’m missing a lot of my favorite SCIV CAS pieces. Actually, probably that’s what’s giving me this impression, I have a mental catalog and SCV keeps coming up short on my orders. :-P

Princess Maeriae of Asturania. The deuteragonist of the novel I plan to write who hires Roviarph to help her fight against her kingdom's usurper from ten years ago whom she believes to have made a pact with the demon lord Tartaros for power. Since the age of 17, she is seen as the de-facto leader of her people in the war that has lasted for ten years. Despite being a noblewoman, she is also skilled in swordplay and defence while also being a proper lady off the battlefield. She is truly devoted to her people and is loved by those who support her.

My very first CaS, Rico. She kind off doesn't fit in very well in SC to be honest, but I still like her. This is actualy Rico MK2 because the first one had this crazy motif going that made her looks like some strange cow thingy. She has :sc5vio1: s style. I think I did a decent job at putting crazy patterns here and there, although the one on the legs from these pics are way off. They look normal normaly xD No idea what happened there.

All these characters look awesome! This is my second character I made, the first was more screwing around and what not. I couldn't think of a decent name, so for now he is named Enigma. I'm still sorta iffy on the horse legs though, I like them but a the same time I wonder if I would be better without them.
