Im sure she will get replaced, mitsurugi's brother(?) is a martial artist right? Tonfa is from japan, and as you can see has similarity or in a nutcase an elbow blade, which is another weapon that talim use in soul calibur.

Hell yes! I love Steampunk fashion/characters so I'd be more then happy to see them one day bring a Steampunk character into the series.

But yeah, I would've liked Ashlotte to come back because out of all the bonus guests, she wasn't some annoying anime person (Elf girl & Angol Fear)/bimbo (Shura). I really only liked Ashlotte and slightly Kam because she was an interesting design for an oni. But like Gatsu said, they were made by feature artists and the rights don't belong to Namco.

Tonfa are Okinawa inspired weapons, from that time period it would be unusual for a samurai's brother to be using an un-samurai weapon if you will. Wasn't the Tonfa originally a farmers weapon of sorts because metal weapons were not allowed for farmhands to use and it was like a grain mills lever? Something like that anyways.
 
My predictions
Ashlotte--- Because she actually played a part in the story with Asta and it would be nice for her to have a new style.
Zasalamel----No duh, he can be reincarnated into a new body, which might get rid of the only African American player in the game.
Bangoo------ Another new character to make the game fresh and replaces his father with the mace, or arrows, I dunno
Talim replacement--- Either this, or she has something in her story to stop her aging.
Setsuka's apprentice--- With age, she might realize that revenge isn't the answer (Which she learns in her story when she does it anyway). And she gives her knowledge to another person, perhaps a girl.
Yun Seong replacement--- I dunno why I predict this. But I hope he's all serious. Like how Kilik is serious and his succsessor, Xiba is immature. It would be the other way around for Yun Seong.
New character---- Perhaps someone that doesn't have the fighting style or connection of another character.
Edge master, Charade, or Owl head- Because Daish confirmed it on his twitter someone similiar will be in (I think)
Slot for bonus characters- where we can play with our old favorites like Taki, Cass, and some other characters that didn't make it, and DLC.
 
Not sure about the guest character. I was already shocked by Ezio's entrance.
Wonder who could top that.
That is if there's going to be another.

Well, that's great to hear sir or madam! I now cordially invite you and everybody else on this thread to the The Steampunk and Clockwork Characters Thread! And yea, that sucks about Asholette
 
I don't there will be a new guest character because there too many old character who don't have thier styles in yet. And, again I have revised the returning characters haha.
-Talim: As stated before hard to replace her because she has many fans however, she might suffer a weapon change.
-Zasalamel: The only black guy with a unique weapon in the series, also, he is immortal so why not.
-Setsuka herself: Daishi designed her himself and she isn't that old. However, I can almost guarntee the style coming back.
-Algol: Mitsu's proflie almost gives it away that he will return. However, I think he will have a weaon change for sure.
-Bangoo: An obvious choice for a replacemeent for Rock. However, he might have different moves because of the similarties between Asta and Rock.
-Boss Character/ Yun-seong/ Sophita/: The boss character would be an obvious choice to make it in afterall that is one of the traditions for SC, however Algol could be the boss again like inferno was. Yun-seong had a distinct weapon and used lots of kicks and could have a story where he killed seong mina. Sophita could make it again because I am still confused where Pat said in the trailer "good bye mother" so maybe she is malfested or controlled by Soul Edge (same thing).

Getting the Boot:
Rock- Sorry, this should have been done a while ago but I will miss him.
Setsuka (maybe)
Seong Mina- many moves are mirrored in Xiba. Also, he has a 2p weapon with a blade at the end of his rod.
Cassandra- Daishi made her in Create a Soul so that kind of gives the feeling she won't return plus her moves are mixed with Pyrrha.
Taki- Natusu is searching for her and she already has most of her moves so this seems obvious plus Taki was also created in create a soul.

I hope Talim doesn't get a weapon change, but I'd still be happy to have her back.

I pretty much agree with this post... except that I would have a nerd rage if Algol was the main boss again. The only way I wouldn't hate if they brought him back (especially as the main boss) is if he got a drastic redesign.
 
A character that uses his fists and legs or the latter for combat.

Main weapon could be the same thing as grieve edge, or if he were to be a brawler, it could be brass knuckles or something.

There is only two styles that when done right could make Maxi lose his #1 spot and that is definitely one of them.

Oh lawl.

You wouldn't be sad would you? A character with a mix or one of those styles opens up a lot of possibilities for unique or almost exact replicas of anime/game characters. I'd also want someone who uses guns mainly but I doubt that'd happen.

I have always wanted a character that used gauntlets and grieves before the grieve edge style came into play in SC3.
