PSN DOWN WTF?!1

Even if not directly, it's because of them Sony had to upgrade the security of PSN. Playstation EU blog had a message the downtime is due to them being targeted by an outside party but then it was removed.

Interesting. Well whatever it is, I hope they resolve the issue soon cause I'm ready to get back on PSN for a while.
 
If anyone could hack PSN, it would be Anonymous. For the most part, they are pretty respectable and help to uphold the first amendment on the internet. I dont know if/why they would do hack PSN yet, but they probably have a good reason for it if they did, but i dont think it should have been done. Thats just being a douche to people all around the world.
 
God only knows what's gonna happen next. Anon is one thing, but they have no control over every member of their group. Takes only one Anonymous Sony hater acting on himself to do a lot of damage to PSN.

However, at the same time when PSN suffers malfunctions pretty much entire internet is blaming anonymous for this so they also do damage to themselves. Sony is a incredibly stubborn company, they will NEVER give up... it's gonna be an interesting battle. Too bad the ones who will suffer most are the players but casualties are inevitable.
 
See you all shouldn't hate so much because the ps3 is finally hacked that means burned games and iso's from external hardrive's, free games all around lol. In the mean time I can practice mk to unlock everything before I take it online lol

remember what we used to do before PSN? was it really so bad? are you really gonna die if you don't do that same zombie run for the 9000th time or 1a the same people to death over and over?

gogogogogogogo anon. i'll happily give up PSN for a month if it means i might be able to put linux on my ps3 and still get it online.
 
Supporting Anonymous group will only prolong our suffering. Knowing how stubborn Sony is, we as the players will never benefit from this ridiculous act of protest. There will be no linux on PS3, only more PSN downtimes.
