[PSN/XBL] New Player Development Matchmaking

Right, its about time i started getting serious about playing SC4 :) Here's where im gonna start
This is an open request to anyone who feels they can help me gauge my game and what needs to be improved and what is already good as it is.
I've been playing for a few months now and i really like the game but i've been playing on instinct alone (wich isnt bad perse) and i need to know which aspect of my game i need to improve the most. As u may have guessed i main Nightmare and im open for any mentor to come and (try to?) kick my ass and tell me whats good and whats not. PSN: Kuma-oni and ill start playing 2nite at around 23:00 (+1 GMT Amsterdam Time)

Not a noob to forums but I'm a noob to 8wr as of now. Also I'm a tad meh at online play considering I only recently got back into SC after playing it for ages as a kid.
Main character: Talim
Side character(s): Mi-na, Yun-Seong (Don't ask how I managed to pick the "trio", it just happened)

If you get a decent connection to western Europe and have a mic, I'll happily show you the ropes with talim.
 
I live up in in colorado so I'm not too sure if I'll get decent connection but hey it's worth a shot. I have a mic as well. I totally should've put my location up in my previous post :p
I have some work to do today but after I'm done I'll see if i can get on. Thanks in advance :sc2tal2:
 
I could help someone learn the basics. Also the advanced. lol I am not that good at applying the stuff in battle as you might see in my vids(YouTube: TheFuryClan) but I can help you out with, Just Frames, Combos, Tech Traps, and Setups so ya. But I main Ivy, Taki, and Cervantes and sub Amy, Maxi, Yoshimitsu, Kilik, Rock, Astaroth, Setsuka. But I could teach any character. Have a mic and a decent connection. GT: Paranormal Oreo
 
Guess it's about time I step my game up. Been lurking 8wr since late '08 and watching you all grow as a community; good job on that btw. Anyways before I get all sentimental and crap, I'm looking for someone to get me ready for tournament level competition (as much as online can) and teach me Cass. I main an average NM and Yun is my backup.

Hey Fenris, I'll play you next time we're both online (Callintriph if you forgot). Just shoot me an invite if I'm not on SC at the time. I'm kinda "mehhh" with online these days so excuse me if I come off as impatient when we play :P

Also have you considered playing offline? Chicago has an active scene of players (damn good ones at that) and they would totally be glad to have a new player.
 
What up Partisan, sounds good. It's not that i don't want to play offline it's more of a time thing. I got none of it with school, my social life, and my fans begging for a new anything. I'll hit you up the next time I see you on, I'm always up for getting punished by Cass after anything I do with Yun.

Fixed for you. Wouldve bolded but can't on my phone.
Anyways I already rolled out the carpet for him so whenever he's got some time open. Speaking of I'm on ps3 and I've only seen the others play on ps3 so I don't know if trying to get used to the controls will be awkward for you fenris :/
 
I have been playing SC4 almost since it came out, but I just recently found out about 8wayrun, and realised that I still have alot to learn, so it would be cool if someone could help me figure out all the things I need to know that are not in the in-game movelist, because thats mostly what I know, I still need to learn the basics on frames and tech and what-not.

Im looking for someone who can teach me how to play as a better Nightmare and/or Algol

My Turtle Beach headset has been broken recently, so I cant get on the mic, so it would probably be a good idea for my mentor to have a keyboard attachment for their controller, I dont have one, but I can input messages pretty fast on the controller.

Anyways add me, I dont have a certain time that im on, sometimes im on all day, sometimes im off all day.
