PSN/XBL Ragequitters

I accidentally RQ using Viola once in a while. Some of her combo's make my fingers tangle. Especially since I play Tekken style. (index finger for A and G, middle finger on B, ring finger on K).

Nearly everyone called out for being quitters must be chronic quitters since I've had the same people quit on me too. I sure don't get it. Why even play?
One guy clued me in while he was screaming at me before he discoed.

"Why am I playing this!?! Auuuugggh! Let me moooooooooooooooooove!"

Good on you Enkindu. That person is clearly being salty because they lost, and is looking to your gameplay to blame as justification of their poor loss, when it's actually a reflection of how good he is at the game. If he was any good, he could clearly counter the superwyrm that you were using, and punished. He's only blaming it on spam, because he couldn't get past that one move lol.

Using the same move allows one to distinguish opponents who can actually play the game from those who have a lack of knowledge about match-ups and moves. One simple solution to that is to LEARN.

I guess this gives adage to that old saying "don't hate the player, hate the game"

Just remembered - ran into WingedPussy/Pirate in 8WR lobby recently. As expected he could not handle being smacked in the face by my gigantic blade repeatedly and left in the 3rd round. I messaged him regarding this evil and shameful act and his only response was something akin to "Oh get over it", proving the obvious - behind his really bad troll disguise he is merely a petty scrub with a fraudulent W/L record.

what i like to do vs wingedpirate is always rage quit on him. He gets pissed i dont even think he will play me anymore lol

I feel that rage quitters need to get their accounts suspended. They shouldn't be allowed to play at all. It's ridiculous. And Soulcalibur is so lenient on the penalties given to these quitters.

Nah, we couldn't have that. Genuine connection issues can be indistinguishable from intentional disconnects. Then innocent people would be punished.

When it clearly says "this battle has been terminated due to the opponent leaving" then that in itself deserves a sanction. It's quite annoying when you've actually put effort into battling all to have your win completely stripped away because certain people are actually salty so they quit. It's just pathetic.

I remember that feeling until I realized peeps ragequitting is like the best thing ever. Goes to show they wasted your time. Trust me, it's better not to worry about giving ragequitters a beat down. Instead just chuckle and move on like I usually do. Or you can provoke them with a message like "you a coward" or something like that and see what response you'll get.

I often submit a negative player review under the "quit early" category to vent my frustration lol :P . I actually think there needs to be a limit as to how much matches a person can quit to make the game fair given that the disconnection is intentional or unintentional.

Silly goose, play me online. Alt is RippCord 007. I'll only be on for awhile.

Fahros exposes rage quitters in his DOIN WORK series.

NinjaSwarm69 - Rage quit in Episode 15 at 23:53

joeweeks - He didn't rage quit in Episode 16, but I read that he rage quits. Match starts at 01:57

CaptainNO_SAIL - This is from the latest episode and I guess he realized that Leixia was unviable. The rage quit happens at 25:35

I almost always do this. At first I though it would make it less likely to run into the player again. On SC4 I could look and see a sad face next to the players name make the decision not to play before joining a match. Now, it's not very useful on 5. But I still report. :)

Hehe.. same. It's much more efficient than sending them rage mail. That would just be sinking to their level. People are far too focused on winning, and maintaining their win / lose ratio hence the quitting. They're fake soulcalibur players. Regardless of my wins and losses, I'm in it for the experience.
