PSN/XBL Ragequitters

The only thing about RQers that make me laugh is when they quit and challenge then quit again when they lose and repeat till either they give up finally or they finally get one win on you and they send their messages to try to make me salty and I just reply with a "GG xD" and they sometimes still take it personally
 

Would you classify this as a rage quit? I picked Pat in this, you know trying him and all. This was my first vs Viola match with him and this happens. Boy I felt awkward after that considering I suck ass using him lol.

1 - Warning message
2 in a row - All license and ranked match text marked in pink to denote quitter status, special title applied "Coward" and locked to that until at least 3 matches are played to completion
3 in a row - 1 hour ban from ranked and global colosseo
4+ - Consecutive 24-hour bans from online

How is playing someone who is significantly worse than you fun at all? I don't give anyone a chance to win unless they can take that win from me, otherwise they don't learn anything. If it's a random chances are they don't even have the potential to become even decent. I don't mind playing a random if they want to learn but they never do. They insist on bitching about things they can't even grasp. If randoms weren't so persistent on constantly kicking people because they lost one match and bitched less I might bother with them. Oh and about ragequitters, to me they're just randoms that are more scrubby than the rest. They're so impatient they can't even wait 5 seconds for the menus to load or they take online way too seriously.

Other notes: Yomi based players tend to make tons of wrong guesses against randoms because they way randoms play never makes much sense so the yomi players just spam what works instead of playing to their strengths.

Lol when people do this to me I usually start tea bagging them, just to try to fire 'em up a bit.
Wouldn't call it a rage quit though. Unsatisfying, but not a rage quit

Exactly! I know when I am fairly bested and beaten. I usually send these players a compliment on XBL. Often times I later find myself invited to player matches for practice with them. I have played this guy though that the 4 times I defeated him right on the killshot cuts his connection. There is no replay you get no points and theres no evidence it ever happened. A ragequit professional. Name is like r0gerl0dge or some shit on XBL well I confronted him on it and he basically in a way said he felt he didnt deserve to lose or I didnt deserve the points. Anyone who defeats him is a spammer. I basically told him he has no honor and to fuck off.

When someone rage quits on me, I don't get angry or anything. Do I think they're worthless? Nope. Do I think they're a waste of time? Heck no! With the amount of dc's I get online along with the aparent lack of interest in GB (seriously people, stop with the bs chattering and just play the freakin' game!) I'm just greatful that I even get a match in to begin with. I recall a convo I had with a rage quitter once.

*After match*

Me: Why did you quit?

Guy: Viola's cheap. All she does is spam spam blah blah blah *you get the idea he pratically wrote a novel*

Me: Oh ok, calm down man it's alright. I'm not gonna tease you or anything. I was just wondering.

Guy: You're not?

Me: Nah

Guy: Oh, ok. I'm sorry. I shouldn't of did that.

Me: Ah its ok, don't worry about it. Your cool.

Guy: Thanks

Sweet guy I tell ya. I was just surprised he didn't call me a fag or something. But yeah, you can rage quit on me all day long and I wouldn't care less. That's just me though.

we just play for different reasons. i'll play against anyone, regardless of skill level. beating some one in ranked that is a beginner is just an empty boost to my record, it proves nothing. and besides, some beginners might have a 30% win record but i respsct them way more than a fake 90% win record. i dont really run into many beginners that constantly complain about losing, most i see just want matches that are on their own skill level.

Lately I have, there's no excuse, I've been pissed lately that this game has become serious shit.. :/ I was playing Soulcalibur 4 and realized that is also shit.. like... :/ I wish my playstation wasn't broke I really loved Soulcalibur 2 and 3.. I just hope Sc6 is a huge improvement :l
