PSN/XBL Ragequitters

Tails kasumi from France, holy hell. I rarely write about RQ's as I'm used to them by now, but this one was just poor. I stopped with Ranked Match because of RQ's and due to finding much better comp overall in rooms, yet somehow one of them found their way into Player Match as well.

Plays Ivy, nothing special. It's 3-bar in a room I specifically asked for 5-bars, but played it out since they were so fiend to hit ready. Drop JF thanks to the lag, but not one to cry about it, just improvised. Must not have been too horrible as I ended up just guarding this guy over ten or so times, though no such execution on his part. Where I'd use bomb for pressure into PO he'd eat it naturally, but instead of taking the free damage I tried out some unique resets that I've yet to see elsewhere. Decent mix up that leads into more potential damage thus rewards the risk, plus adds some style and execution factor. Thinking he'd appreciate this versus the usual air grab damage, I figured he'd hang in there or even show some love. Hah. He gets mixed up twice and before I finish off the air combo that would lead into death, he peaces out... in Player Match.

Garbage. Avoid this scrub.

This Raikou dude still ragequits against me. RQ'd last time as I almost beat him only using aB's

I think I've fought him before, he mains Natsu right?

KOSMOS A18 rage quit on me in the GC after I was astounded at his 4,800+ wins and 80+ losses (He had a 96% win ratio) He mains Pyrrha on Xbox. His crappy little 2 bar connection he runs from Argentina or whatever back water country he dwells in caused me to lose the first game. He has a terrible second and a half delay with inputs so he usually does BB then inputs his CE right after hoping to catch you on the lag delay. I beat him the second fight 3-1, and before the final KO lands, "Opponent has exited the match".

It was such a terrible fight too, I literally had to grab him 3 times in a row and he burned 2 Critical Edge attempts after mashing BB into my guard and hoping to catch me trying to punish. But instead I just help G and let him burn his own meter. No combos or set-ups, just burns meter into your guard aimlessly hoping you'll drop G to punish but get caught in the lag delay.

I fought that guy before...thanks to his shitty connection mainly 2 bars i could never beat his pyrrha. I was really skeptical of his win percentage so he probably quit on me if I won.

Yeah I felt the same way, when I lost the first fight I didn't feel like I got "beat", I felt like I was just unable to input my moves in compensation with the massive latency delay. It's almost like you need input a punish or a quick side step to his BB spam 'during' his BB spam, because if you rely on the visual aspect you're too slow. Once I figured that out to input punishes during his attacks the timing came out perfectly, hence 3 successful grabs in a row!

I saw a guy like him in Dead or Alive 5 once, it was an S ranked player from Mexico, had the worst connection imaginable. The player only mashed basic combo strings, but due to his terrible connection, counter holding was near impossible, you literally had to try and out mash him on disadvantage. Our mash punches even were colliding where I would take a little damage, and so would he. Needless to say I ended up losing barely, but it made me wonder. "How on earth did this guy make it to S rank?!" So I'm assuming there is this breed of 3rd world XBL players with terrible connections that screw regular players out of matches purely because of lag. SC4 was a prime example of this, take a tournament level player, put him in a game with a 2 bar connection and he'd probably lose.

KOSMOS A18 sucks, if you come across him, avoid him, save yourself the frustration of 1.5 to 2 seconds of input delay.

I have returned with pictures.

Has anyone else had "Aeon Verus 1337" quit on them? Happened to me yesterday, I'll update with a picture of the hate mail I got.

Have you guys fought Lykan King? I was about to get my 2nd perfect and he randomly quit. I thought he was good by his record and what from someone told me :(
