So you meant punishing in general (with whiff punishing) or just block punishing?

iGDR and aB are theoretically beast, but kill you for a slight mistake, especially iGDR. =/
Pretty much like Soph's 236B or JF Umbrella. It's how punishing tools should work in general, imo.

I personally rate X above Amy in punishing because she gets a KND earlier with no tough execution and even if she fucks up its almost never a disaster. 6BB trumps AA, but Amy has to enter a high risk/reward 50/50 to keep the pressure on so I put X above Amy at lower disadvantage myself...
I guess it's debatable. But 6BB gives enough advantage to frame trap with 3A, 2A or another 6BB. There's also 6BB236.

I know it's your thing Syn, but tone it down on being an ass a little bit. The costs of living is very different in Alaska.

I'm living on £50 ($80ish) a week and I still turn up to every event I can and will continue to do so until I have absolutely no choice but to miss events. I'm in a tough situation and I STILL MAKE THE EFFORT.
 
I meant in the SU daGOTTh vid - Kilik only gets 46B typically. That said Kilik is probably bottom 3 in punishing in all of SCIV =/

Sieg gets 6K - boot to the fucking head. ^^
Sophie gets 55 dmg (bitch)
he could be getting 6B8 or aB for better punishes, which give +frames

I have to travel half the length of the country to play more than one differant player for a few hours, which costs me the equivelent of $200 a pop. Don't give me that shit.

College is expensive. Trust me, I'd consider otherwise, if not for that money being absorbed into education. To get a connection you'd get for about $20-$40 in the Lower-48, I'd have to pay about half the figures you posted above. Inflation is awful up here, because of small market diversity.

Well I did say it was a contraversial pick, lol. It depends on the player as to what you want in a punisher, just like what set of tools you want in your character - this is the sort of discusion I enjoy, but I thought 6BB was -2 on hit? 6BB236~mixup/6BB236B(mash) is what I would use with Amy, which for Amy is high risk but a great position to score some damage or set up into a lot of damage. Haven't tried 6BB 3A though, but I'm pretty sure generic 2A beats it, though that just sets up a 50/50 with 6BB236B(mash) but with better risk reward so I see where your coming from. As a player, I just prefer to deal in garuntees with punishers. =/

Honestly?
Doom as a character > Wesker.
Doom as an assist > Wesker.
Doom with lv. 3 Xfactor < Wesker midscreen, > Wesker in a corner.
Dark Wesker may be stronger generally in clutch, but Doom at least competes with this when he goes red and I'm calling this now will turn out to be top 3 in uMVC3 - I garuntee it.

I kind of feel the same way, except specifically I'm more for this and less for vanilla Pyrrha. Hopefully, regular Pyrrha has some tools or advantage over Omega Pyrrha that adds to cast diversity.

No, 6BB is +2 which changes a lot. And 6BB236 is +4, which is even worse, lol. 6BB> i15 3A should beat almost anything due to advantage and TC.

The only thing I will say about it is that TAS B is an overrated move, it's good for whiff punishing/punishing certain moves on block, and sometimes good for catching backstep, that's it. A player who spams TAS B doesn't understand Sophie's strengths/weaknesses and how she's "supposed" to be played.

Anyways, I have some questions about Omega Phyrra, maybe someone can answer them? I would appreciate it.
Have they removed her annoying scream when she does 236B?
Does she have any Auto-GIs?
Is Sophie's 4B back?
Does she have Sophie's 3K and 44K?

As good as Doom is, his big problem is opening people up, which is what you need most as an anchor. What is he gonna do if his whole team gets KO'd and he's the last one left? Triangle jump to the other side of the screen? Foot dive every character to death? It's going to be either that or Airgrab -> combo-> super. All of those options are risky. Lvl 3 x-factor doesn't make him scarier, with the exception that his foot dive is faster. But hey, all you have to do is chicken block, and its not like it's unseeable.

Wesker on the other hand has no problem opening up characters with teleport shenanigans, ALL of his normals being safe or even giving him advantage, and not to mention his command grab that leads into a full combo. All of his supers are better, with Phantom Dance/Maximum Wesker doing 400K by itself (which is totally stupid). His range game isn't that bad either, with his gun shot doing ~15K on block alone (which stacks up quick, forcing a player to stop zoning). Plus the guy is braindead easy, requiring almost no execution skill, which is important in clutch moments. I'm not even going to get into him as a XF3 character. There's a reason everyone hates Wesker.

Dooms biggest problem with lv3 is controlling the ariel game at mid-fullscreen imo. 30% speed boost to t.jump mixups is a lot scarier to figh than you think I'd say. And if he's maybe top 5 name me 3 characters who are undoubtably better than him? I'm not sure I can... Yes Wesker has no bad matchups, but Doom doesn't get raped by anyone either...
I'd take him as an anchor in preference to Wesker myself even if it is close between them because as far as I'm concerned he's better in general and ToD's just as quickly when red.
 
What's with all this Marvel talk in the Omega Pyrrha forum? TAS B really isn't broken enough to belong in Marvel...

And yes, what about those low throws? I always miss them whenever I play a character other than Cass/X.
