Quick Steps (How to Learn Calibur)

Good work guys! A few nitpicks though:

. While watching it, I wasn't sure if you were trying to address players new to SC, or people who have already been playing the game for some time. There was a lot of technical terms being used without sufficient explanation.
. The demonstrations of things like 8WR/Stepping, I think it needs to have a set amount of time in the video dedicated to explaining them, but that comes down to editing/choreographing what you want to show and then talking over it etc.
. Having notes/annotations present on-screen during a demonstration, so viewers always have something to refer to when watching, plus it can reinforce what you are trying to teach them.

Of course, this is the first ep. so not gonna get it bang on straight away, may take a few episodes to really get into your stride. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and can't wait to see future videos : )

Discussion of the basic mechanics can definitely wait until you have the game, but it is important to go over them in detail that your grandmother could understand. Teaching requires that you assume NO knowledge sometimes.

Also when going over the numerical directions, make sure to point out that it's tied directly to your keyboard's numpad. This A) gives them a quick visual reference point, which is invaluable when you're just learning the notation, and B) helps to explain WHY we use this, as otherwise assigning directions to numbers would seem fairly arbitrary to an outsider.

Aside from that, you guys are on the right track. Recording audio after the gameplay was already touched on and you're already planning to fix it, so that's fine. Only other complaint I could possibly have is that there's not enough ME in it lol. But that's what I get for living in Buffalo, I suppose.

Apologies for the long wait, life and a trip to the hospital got in the way of this being posted in a timely manner. We hope to start posting on a regular basis very soon, there were many kinks to figure out (involving a re-shoot) and we still aren't very satisfied with what we have but once again, we are hard at work.

Thanks for your patience and I hope you keep watching!

My only nitpick aside from enjoying some SCV education vid I will be staying tuned to, is speak up a lil Chuck. Pardon my post.

Try this one for episode 2?

Yo thanks. I'm a Tekken and SF player and I know the majority about the basics of SCV, but the really unique system mechanics are something of a blur to me and just look like flashy shit, and stuff like this really helps and the future of it will be super helpful to the "on-the-fencers" like me.

Good luck with the show.

Here it is guys!
To be honest, it doesn't look like we're gonna be able to consistent on a release date (as much as I would like that.) Its a part of life I guess. I hope thats ok with you guys.
