R.I.P. Thread

Damn John. My heart sank to my stomach this morning when i read bout your pops. Im so sorry my friend. But you seems to be taking the right way. Keep remembering the happy times. The memories that you and him shared together. And the life lessons taught by him. All i want for my kids when im gone is remember the things i taught and the great times we had. Its the ultimate satsfaction for any father.

And here comes the thpical speech but i want to really read into what it means cause i really do believe in it.

Your father will always be there for you. Always be watching. Just you cant see him doesnt mean you cant talk to him. Never forget
Yourfather cause it sounds like one i wouldve killed for from my dad.

If you need someone john im here for you. Maybe im just some weird guy behind a compter screen to you. But i am in fact a real person that has been through this. Recently in fact. I care about you and wanna see you get through this. Hit me up my friend. Ill always be here to listen.

John, the major thing that I took away from your post was that your father was loved. That matters oh so much.

I'm sorry for your loss, and like others here I'll always be around if you need somebody to talk to.

I know man. Obviously I was too young to be around for it all, and I've been cursing the hell out of that fact for the entire fucking day.

Dude the Beastie Boys were my wifes favorite all time band ever in the world. She had no idea MCA had cancer. I told her and she literally started balling her eyes out like they were best buddies and shit.

Its been a rough week on my childhood man. First Junior Seau now MCA. Who next....Billy Corgan? (Dont Laugh asshole)

i was blasting this song as i was driving home from work today
i later find out that Adam Yauch aka MCA has passed away today and my heart sank
like i can't even stomach this
RIP MCA keep makin some noise up there

ARRGH!! My GOD!!
It's Junior Seau I've read about, then now MCA?!!
*deep inhale, sigh* -- I'm Shell Shocked...

RIP Maurice Sendak, author of Where the Wild Things Are.

Any other parts of my childhood you want to take away, 2012?

Damn beat me to it. Craziness going on in this world!!

And "Goober" from the Andy Griffith Show died as well at the ripe old old of 76.

Yeah thats right. Im old enough to remember that show!!

Me too man. They made a concert video in 06 called "Awesome I fuckin shot that!". I popped that in over the weekend cause I aint seen it in a while. My wife instantly starts balling.

There is one part in particular where the get Doug E Fresh on stage to beat box during check your head and it was a "Turn the fuckin stereo up all the way and bump that shit!" Ahhh it was a good moment!
