Was on the hunt of cool words because im thinking of changing my alias one of these days and found out the Japanese word for blood was chi. Every martial arts anime ever now makes a tiny bit more sense.

I believe this is the only place I can actually vent my frustrations without any real repercussions. Can't go to my social networking sites to do it because I have too many professional connections attached to each of those and it's just scary to think of the gravity of what all that pertains.

having said that, I despise having my time wasted. If I'm doing business with you, I expect to be treated with the same professionalism I give you along with my services. I don't expect to be waiting for weeks for a reply for a retake to do something I can do in 15 minutes. that shit is ridiculous. If you have a correction you need made, get it to me as soon as you can so I can fix it and be done with it. So I can move on to my next project.

And when I have to hound you for the feedback, don't treat that shit like it's some fucking chore or annoyance. Because I'm NOT on your fucking schedule. You hired me to do this fucking thing on MY time. I got other shit on my fucking plate. I don't have the fucking time to sit there, twiddling my thumbs waiting on the edge of my seat waiting for your feedback on whether or not this is okay or if you want a retake.

I fucking hate being a freelancer.
 
one reason why I like XSI Softimage more than Maya:

If XSI crashes on you, there's a chance that when you reload XSI, it'll pick up exactly where you left off. Giving you the opportunity to save that bitch. IF maya crashes on you? YOU'RE SHIT OUT OF LUCK. Ergo, you have to save frequently.

A lesson that I have to be reminded of everytime I get comfortable and forget to save thinking it'll be alright.

a full 16 hours worth of work... gone. fuck my life.
